Skill based (shapeshifters) are not pierced by TS. Spell based are. At least that's what I've been told some time ago

I guess there are differences among the Epic Mummy Dust Summons but... what kind of differences? I mean, what is main focus or role for different summons?

What are the rulings against using Deity names in character names? I ask because in the traditional Hin naming guide, it's possible to form some of the Hin deity's names. The character's name I had in mind would have the surname Peryroyl, with the meaning Divine Flower.

I doubt any one player has made a caster with every kind of EMD summon, so that's hard to answer. I only know the undead version, and I can say the obvious for that one- immunities + weaknesses, but otherwise a beefy basher.

Ah but that's the different, I'm not naming myself Sheela Peryroyl, Daughter of Sheela Peryroyl or something implying I am the god, however the god's name has meaning behind it in Hin tongue.

Should be fine to do it Yaster. Names are just names. Of course some of them are more unique than others, but in your case it's just a Hin name which happens to also be in common with a god. The point is that you're not trying to pretend you are or come from that god, but it's just a coincidence due to shared language.

Is there a way to give custom names to the items you make through the crafting system? And if so, how is it done?

Yep, though you have to blow a mythal to do it. The bigger the mythal, the longer tbe name you can give your item. It's one of the options that comes up in the regular mythalcrafting menu, and it pops up instructions when you select it. It's fairly simple.

Also, do you mean Job or Mythal Crafting system Corbie? If the former, you can use a Scribe's desk to rename ANY Job item. If the latter, then it's Mythals.

Any Job system item (Aka orange text item) can simply be put in a Scribe's desk and renamed /and/ have new descriptions! In fact, if you have say, a Gem, which the special properties of "Gem, Obsidian" you can use a Mythal on it at a Mythal Crafting Station and remove it, basically making your own re-nameable item!

Is the length limit really not a thing anymore? I remember having names rejected by the mythal forge for being too long. That was... quite some time ago, though.

As a former slave to the MCS too that was the case, for whatever reason that is no longer the case and I have been able to exceed the nameable cap with Minor Mythals easily.

Yeah. I just found out the hard way that only orange text items can be changed. I was about to post this same question. Too bad it can't be any item.

EMD is an extremely useful feat especially when you have the correct Epic Spell Foci for it, which extends it to 15 minutes I believe.

That means 30 minutes into 60 minutes, at max. (I assume the spell-mechanical hour is still two minutes, despite changes to the day-night cycle clock.)

I will get as only useful focus the necromancer (Duration extended to 1 Hour/level), while other summons will last 1 Turn/level that should anyway be enough, so i am really undecided.

Is it possible to have spawn encounters triggered by summons/familiars/companions?
And is it possible to add a use to the PC emote wand, under 'summon options' to make your S/F/C bash at the nearest or selected object?

Not sure if it's been asked but can shield or any globe spell be used to protect ones self from the rain and can any sort of elemental resist spell be used to dry ones self?

If I get the monkey grip widget to use for a weapon on my character, say, a scythe or something, when using the widget the weapon loses the 1.5x STR bonus to damage and gets the other debuffs from style penalties, listed on the website.
But, if I don't use the widget for some reason (i.e. I'm dueling someone and want to maximize damage rather than equip a shield), so I don't use the Monkey Grip widget at that time, do I retain my 1.5x STR bonus and do I lose the style penalties, or are all these penalties applied directly to the weapon even if you wield it in both hands like normal?

The penalties and everything are in the weapon, so once it is bonded, it is basically like always wielding it in one hand, with or without shield. (You get the 1.5x bonus, but the bonded weapon has the damage penalty)
If you want everything (without shield, too) without the penalty, you have to wield a non-bonded weapon.

OK; then this is a bit more specific...
Since there were talks of nerfing the enchanted damage boosts (like +2d4 electric damage) and massive critical damage boosts on two handed weapons, when using them with monkey grip, what would the penalties (besides style penalties) be for a Warforged Greatsword?
A normal Warforged Greatsword being +2d6 physical damage (can't remember if it's slashing or piercing), +2d6 massive critical, and keen.

I... Can't... remember.
It's all written in the MG post that was hot during the last week.
I do remember that 2d6 of massive critical was reduced to... 1d6? 1d10? Something along the lines. I'll read again.

Nope! Sorry. It changes 2d6 of (m)ass critical to 2d4*, which isn't exactly a OH MY GODS MY CHARACTER IS BROKEN thing. **
*In the case of a greatsword, that is.
**Based on what Mosh said, that is.

I... don't... think... so? I don't have any evidence for such, but that is my belief. I'd love to be able to tell, but sadly I MG a bastard sword, and it is 1d10/1d10/1d8 in the best scenario

Do druid and ranger levels stack bonuses for the animal companions? As in, would a 26 druid/ 4 ranger count as CL30 for his companion?

It is possible to have the same shape with a different skin as long as it makes sense, yes. For example is there a skinchanger which allows to shift into metallic dragons instead of the chromatics, since they have the same stats. So yes, possible as long as the stats or not totally off for the new creature you want. Someone asked if adding abilities/spells to shapes etc would be possible. You'd need to request a custom shape for that, which is a bit more on the pricey side. Depending on power somewhere around 23ish DC.
