This question has probably been answered to death, so I'd rather post here than make a topic...
What are the rules/procedures about post pvp interactions with the other party? Say I assassinate a player... Can they seek revenge? Is it expected that they avoid interaction with you? I know death isn't permanent on amia, but it is worthwhile at all?

If they find out in-character who it was that assassinated their character, and/or contracted the assassin, they are allowed to seek revenge, so long as there is adequate RP towards finding either party and RP prior to any actual hostilities.

Does anyone know how much UMD you need to use wands on Amia?

Pretty sure it's 10 pr 15 (ranks+CHA mod, remember a negative CHA mod has to be compensated for), that's what I was told. UMD is based off cost, and most wands cost under 20,000 (10 UMD) but things like Negative Energy Protection (I think that's the one) cost a bit more than 20k so you need 15 UMD. http://nwn.wikia.com/wiki/Use_magic_device < has a nice chart

Thanks Nav.... but.... why can I use stoneskin and haste wands as a cleric/dc with only 2 UMD? Makes no sense to me.... I really only want a few different wands to be useful to her, but... don't know if she can do it.
Thanks,

My Sharessin cleric is able to, also (but I swear my drow couldn't until she got UMD?). Best Sune and I could figure is it has to do with Haste and Stoneskin being domain spells now. Or something. It's a bit confusing, to be honest, heh.

very confusing.... but! Right now, she has no UMD and can make wands of stoneskin and haste, yet, can't use them.... thus, adding a bit so she can. It means a drastic change to her build, well, from my initial idea anyway, so I wanted to make sure that 2 could work.... I think I can squeeze 5 UMD, but, clerics don't get a ton of skill points and she doesn't have many levels left to work with.
I am most interested in:
haste wands stoneskin wands inproved invisibility wands
If I can use those three with 1 or 2 UMD.... all good. If I need 5, thats fine too, just need to know which it is?
Thanks to all who helped so far!

I'm pretty sure it's 10 UMD that you will need, cause of the 20k max (haste wands cost like 16k to make so that's their price in UMD terms). I could be wrong, but I've never tested it. If I remember I can try to test that on our test server when I get a chance.
Can anyone else that knows chime in? UMD can be a PITA, imo.

Nav, sorry to be such a pain! I hear you about the 10 UMD for wands, but.... when I tried it in singleplayer (exported my character and levelled them up to max), with just 2 UMD she could use haste and stoneskin wands. That sort of kills that theory of 10 UMD needed. Keep in mind, she COULD NOT use them until I added a rogue level with 2 UMD. I'm curious if improved inviso would work too..... Thanks so much!

Did she have a CHA modifier at all? UMD should only work in increments of 5 I thought :<

I was thinking much the same since it worked for some things, but not others...... but, then again, I was testing a hypothetical single player vs Amia.... I don't have the haks and modifications to single player (have no idea how to do any of that).

Amia hasn't done anything to UMD behaviour. Adjusting UMD costs is done through skillvsitemcost.2da, which we've left as default.
2 ranks of UMD wouldn't allow you to use anything; only increments of 5 ranks do anything for UMD. I'd recommend you look at the item's description to see which classes are able to use it, and to look at your character sheet to see your final modified skill score. There's a few items which raise it too.

Tumble doesn't, UMD does. Tumble is the rare exception for balance reasons, I guess.

Shifter coding question.
we have limit of three powers slots in form, but what if one of the power was instead like Shadow conjuration in that its a single power but can do 6 different things. would that let a shifter kind of bypass its limit?

Well, that'd mean I would have to edit some universal spell/ability just for one custom form, which I'm loathe to do. Also, more than three abilities on one form sounds a bit excessive.

Are any of the other Torch models available ingame? I've seen Lanterns but unsure if they're request only.

I don't know whether this has been answered before, but what are the different accents of Amia and it's neighbours? Bar the Scots Dwarves.

Yup. You get self rebuilds (which are free) and DC rebuilds now (which cost 1dc for 2 levels)

An albino elf would pretty much just look like a moon elf with an uncommon eye color.

In the NWNwikia I just noticed that apparently items that add sneak attack d6's do not stack with what sneak attack a character might have on their own. This makes sense when I think about it, but I always assumed they stacked, in part because of rogue oriented gear that had 'additional' sneak attack d6's.
Amia has made some changes to how things work, do they stack here?

Nope, they don't. Because having a 30 rogue sneaking around knifing people for 200 points a pop would be horrible.

Point... Though getting the extra 25 d6's even a straight 30th rogue would need to achieve that seems a bit far fetched. Was just looking at the gear available, and noticing a hole in how I valued said gear I usually, until now anyways, tried to go for the things I thought added a d6 or two.

Noob question, but what is the point of the portal in south Cordor that transfers you to the other server but on a rock in the sea that you can not leave? I wanted to explore the other server's low lvl areas (my toon is only lvl 10) and thought that would be the way to get there, but I couldn't go anywhere. Is there a way for low lvl toons to go to the B server's low lvl areas and if so where is the portal? (I found the portal in Kohligen but it lead to a more high-lvl area).

A question about the Underdark and alternate starting locations. If I make a toon that is an underdark race and evil alignment, will I automatically be able to start in the Underdark, or do I have to do something special? Also, if I want to start in the underdark should I start on the A server or B server?

Most will say B, it's a newer community that needs more players.
Once you have activated your Subrace, go to the mirror and select "I've been playing Amia for a while" then select your starting loc!

Well if you start on A or B you still have the L'Obsul bind But yes play all on B! Aside from that, DO NOT pick the default starting location. That's going to spawn you in the middle of a cave with enemies immediately outside and you have no equipment. Choose the alternate location, that will set you in Underport for A. L'Obsul will still be the starting point for B. Unless they fixed that .... which I doubt cause I can't recall it being said it was.
