An Efreeti would pass through the portal, and approach the living cities gates. There it would halt, providing a letter to the guards, adressed to the Speaker of Tarkuul.

The creature would not refuse, handing over the letter and making it's way across the bridge, and then vanishing in the portal.

The Efreet would turn it's massive body and look down to the drow. It's fiery eyes looking her over as it gives a simple answer.

"I am to wait here."
