*A man wearing brown clothes seems to be around frequently. He sells skins to Ulf the White and keeps cleaning the area beyond the walls from wild animals. He's also investing on their small market, buying all kind of goods. For what reason, no one knows. But it's pretty clear he's popular among them and welcome at some level.*

*Day by day, Amon spent his money on buying their goods and services. He also insists to the local leader that he would like to help them to expand their walls by his own cost, helping them to develop. He would state that's the first step to increase their safety. But for that he would need a place to store the building material.*

He is told to pike off (but thank you for the free stuff.).

He's also told to stop metagaming the NPCs, and that doing a random quest doesn't really make you "popular", it just makes you "tolerated".

He does, however, catch the gaze of a woman-shaped figure in dun-hued armour, an amulet of a pair of blue female eyes surrounded by stars around her neck. She doesn't speak to the locals unless she's spoken to, keeping a quiet gruff tone even then. He may or may not remember her, but it's fairly clear....she remembers him.
