House Caris-Denoix seeks honorable men and women versed in history and lore in the fields of aberrations, fiends, golemns, lycantrophy and the undead, as well as history of the ancient realms of mankind. Replies should be sent to the residence in the market district of the City of Kohlingen.

I am primarily an antiquarian, with particular interest in human civilization and military history. Limited means have hampered my ability to do field work in the past, but I am well read and versed on the subjects above and willing to do analytical and field work as required.

Another letter, sealed with an odd mother of pearl wax, is delivered to the Kohlingen residence by a tall, thin, brown-skinned woman, with hair and eyes black as pitch. She is polite enough but leaves quickly, boarding the boat she came in on from Wharftown before it finishes unloading its stores.
