Okay, so, i finally installed NWN onto my new laptop and got all the overrides and haks all in place and all that jazz. The problem arises with my screen, i have my monitor set to 1600x900 and i have the game set to that as well. The screen and everything is scaled correctly but my action bars are soooo small and i don't know if there is a way to change that. I can deal but if i lower the resolution it just creates a border and shrinks my play screen. I run this on Windows 7 so i don't know if it is an OS problem or what but my laptop can handle pretty much anything you throw at it. Any help at all?

Not all resolution setting just shrink the window and create borders, fiddle around with that and see if it works. Beyond that you might be out of luck, unless there are overrides somewhere that make the UI bigger that I'm not aware off (and there is a distinct possibility of that).

I fiddled with matching my screen resolution to all the in game resolutions and it just shrinks it and adds a border. I can deal with it but if there was a solution i would love it!

From what i have read that doesn't fix it but i can try. Alt+enter doesn't do anything so idk if i have to go into the .ini and change stuff.

Yep, I play in Windowed Mode that takes up a lot of the screen. Just make sure the resolution is smaller than the maximum offered by your screen. If the Windowed Mode settings are set up right, it'll make a bigger window for you.

As long as the horizontal or vertical resolution is not bigger/equal then then your desktop resolution, the window will size properly. So if your desktop resolution is 1600x900, you need to pick a resolution lower then that, do the ini tweak as linked and press alt+enter once NWN boots, that should do the trick. You can change resolutions on the fly too of course.
