In the winding underground tunnels where terran and frost mephits roam, a new seeming statue may be seen.

On closer inspection it is a petirified woman.

She is tall and spare, winged, cloaked and heavily armored, wielding a spear in two clawed hands. She seems to have been frozen in time in mid-swing; her entire body arrayed in an angry position, her paused momentum and movement fierce.

Who-ever she was no one may truly know. Except perhaps if they are able to identify the sigyl on her breast... a fierce-looking sheep-head, with two long pointy black horns curling forward like those of a black -dragon's.

*karindi who frequents these caverns spots the statues and growls after clearing the mephits away*

Not again....

*She takes the time to drag the statue out of the cave, then takes out a stone solve and rubs it on the statue, waiting*

After a while the woman begins to move, slowly, a fraction here, a twitch there, until at once she is again swinging at full force towards the last enemy she remembers fighting. When her spear point hits the ground she straightens and looks around confused; her armor nicked, and cloak and tabard slashed, in so many places she looks like she had been battered to within an inch of her life...maybe more.

She raises her surprised gaze to Karindi, then falls flat on her face.

*takes her back inside out of the cold and near the forges and cooks some bear meat for her to eat when she awakens*

Now, i wonder what brought you all the way up here...

She would slowly come to, rents in her flesh under the armor mending, but very very slowly. She doesnt seem to mind though.

She would take off her battered helm, revealing pale greyish skin, black eyes with no whites, and hair dyed a brilliant and vibrant shade of neon-blue.

In answer to Karindi's question, the bedragged woman would reply in a heavy Calimshan accent, small sharp fangs flashing between her lips, covered in meat-juice:

"My brother made me mad. So I went hunting with my sheep. I was a cow for a time, then a hopping shadow-thing... then the purple potion went away and left me with a headache and I was hitting these little flying things with my spear. One barfed some cloud at me and I went to hit it. Next thing I knew, you had me outside in the snow."

Swallowing a bit of meat she would ask, "Have you seen my Mongo?"

*the woman now that you can get a look at her, is very muscular. She carries a large sword in a wyvern hide sheath on her back and has very long (down to her knees almost) dirty blonde hair. Her eyes are a deep red and her ears make a very slight elvish point.*

Can't say I have. Not even sure what a mongo is really. Those creatures are rather annoying, i've been looking for the portal they have been getting in through for months. i originally planned to put the campsite for my tribe here, but the mephits are far too dangerous to have children around. I'm Karindi, Chieftess and huntress of the Koth'tuk. When you are ready to move, i'll walk you back to which ever town ya want to go to.

She would laugh and smile. Then shakes her head.

"I'll rest for a while. An' I can walk m'self down to that mountaineer and catch a cart down the mountain. The only reason I was stopped by those ...mephits? was cause I weren't taking precautions cause I was mad. "

She's shrug, finish her meat, then settle in to rest for a little while. Afterwards, she'd be on her way, every once in a while, patting the air next to her, and muttering about sheep.
