These notices are placed in L'obsul, a few set near the surrounding tunnels leading into the settlement. They are written in neat, austere Undercommon. The Obsidian Vanguard
Militia Rally
This is a notice to those of our militia sector, as well as any others who wish to contribute to the security of L'Obsul against outside threats. Any denizens of the Underdark with skill in combat are welcome; warriors, skirmishers, even magi with the inclination.
We are to begin rallying outside Tradehouse L'da'uren, in approximately five cycles hence. The purpose of these gatherings is to organise and assemble the militia. Training drills are to follow, if there is sufficient time in the initial meeting. The drills will include evaluation of individual skill, which will contribute heavily towards the assignment of ranks.
As this organisation is newly-formed, I do not expect a single gathering will be sufficient. Hence, I will be conducting multiple sessions, particularly of the drills.
Commander Ada'vrae // Alright. Because my schedule is a bit funny and I have a weird time zone, I haven't the faintest of how to schedule this. So let me know what times are ideal for you, next week, from Monday. My normal waking hours are 8am GMT to 2pm but earlier/later are both doable. I'll try and get one of those doodle calenders for better organising if we can narrow down a few better times for doing this.

Militia Information
Following the successful rally, it has been decided that the information stated on the Vanguard Militia is to be posted publically in order to better inform prospective recruits. Due to the availability of this information, details will be limited and released upon personal inquiry (see Commander Ada'vrae, or the Obsidian Council).
The Militia is essentially an Irregular military force dedicated to the defence of L'Obsul. We do not yet benefit from any official support from the Four Clans, however provided we do not interfere with their usual operations there will be no problems. I must reiterate that the Militia is a defence force. We protect L'Obsul and the surrounding tunnels, we do not engage in raiding.
Members of the militia can expect to face threats from the neighbouring caves and tunnels to L'Obsul, as well as the possibility of outsider infiltration. To that end we will patrol those areas, as well as the unguarded sections of L'Obsul Jas. Hierarchical ranks are currently under development.
We will continue to rally when able. Training will be provided, particularly for those unprepared against the threats we may expect to face. Attending these gatherings is advisable for all members, as situational updates will be released at these times.
As always, we welcome any with an interest in guarding and strengthening L'Obsul to join us; those who wish to do so need only seek us out, or attend the next scheduled meeting. Commander Ada'vrae, of the Obsidian Vanguard
