Five Two Pieces of vellum find themselves slung over banisters, rafters, gables, throughout the Holy city. One in Mayfield's, one in the pavilion of the Western Market, one near the temple of the Triad and City Hall, one tacked to the notice board, and a final one dangling from the facade of the mage's tower in the city. They are not professionally scribed. If anything is seen in action, it is a small red creature, no larger than a cat, and a black-stained barbed tail flitting about.Robert of House Caris is guilty of murdering an elder man for not working fast enough! Ask why Lord Yaston himself has not brought this knowledge to the High Justicar! House Caris is employs dastardly Blackguards and men of low moral compass! House Caris is accused of the worship of Bane! A trial is demanded before an Arbiter of Justice for these crimes! Honor demands such ill souls be ferreted out and expunged from the Hallowed walls of Kohligen! Manfried was dispatched, let not another mistake come to fester for a generation before it is too late!

A furious blonde woman, wearing the colours of Baron Robert, can be seen yanking them down, her hoarse voice snarling curses in Cormyrian. She probably doesn't find them all, but those she /does/ find, come down.
Those who have been around for a while may just recognize the former wife of War Knight Captain Thoric Nefzen, Seleine.
Those she takes are delivered two places; to Robert and to Yaston. Though it pains her, she bites her tongue and simply explains where she found them, her voice clipped and seething, slipping in and out of low Cormyrian.
"I found'ese. 'Anging...all over. I did not see who 'ung them. They are lies! Please, m'sieur Yaston, do not let the Baron's good name be damaged."

Castiel comes across one on her morning walk flittering in the breeze and picks it up, scanning the contents. Anyone nearby might see her face pale ghostly white, and her aasimar silver eyes flash brightly in anger.
"Lies, and slander!" She mutters angrily, rolling up the parchment and tucking it away. She is seen making her way to the keep straightaway.

*Yaston would ask the guards and Captain Charles Navrae if they have seen the person who made those posters.*

After leaving word that she needs to speak to Yaston at once, Castiel does her best to remove all of the notices she can find.

An injured copper kin can be seen reading one of the notices, the one on the mage center to be specific. She doesn't seem angry or upset about in the least for some reason.

While it is clear he would likely know of these public allegations by now, it is also known that sir Robert never involves himself in the mob-like public notice forum that are the amian adventuring politics. No letter is sent to the Triadic Knights to ask to remove the posters and no statement is given about these recent attempts to tarnish his reputation. Exhausted from Caraigh and the cleansing of the Kohlingen Manor, the noble is not often seen out these past days. Truly, the most exciting occurrence at his residence lately is a small shipment of cormyte wine that makes it's way to his home in the Merchant District. Perhaps he is also just grown too accustomed of these attempts or due to his fondness for wine, too hungover to have the patience to deal with it.

One of the notes is taken down, and soon after replaced, with a few modifications.Quote: Robert the House Caresser is hugging an elder man for making delicious pie! Ask why Lord Yaston himself has not brought this pie for the High Justicar! House Caris is employs delicious Blackchocolates and grains of foreign import! House Caris is accused of the worship of Sugar! A tasting is demanded before an Arbiter of Flavour for these pastries! Amian cuisine demands such culinary delights be shared and exported from the Hallowed walls of Kohligen! Manfried was dispatched, let not another bakery come to close for a generation before it is too late!

A solitary notice dangling some twelve feet or so above the entry to the mage tower, fluttering impetuously in the wind. Likely a winged being, or ranged weapon, or perhaps even a particularly long pole or lance might be needed to remove it.
The vellum are little more than paper with ink, and little bits of string or twine. Who, or whatever made them left no makers mark.

Tuomas reads one of the notices, bowing his head and seeing a copy conveyed, quietly to one of the Guards with the instruction of providing it anonymously to the Justicar's attention.

*Yaston speaks.* The question is: Why would I had brought it to the Justicar if it went under an official judical examination and trial? Not to mention that the case officially brought itself to the Justicar since the bribed, traitor clerks officially appealed to him against the death penalty, begging for mercy.

Samantha smiles slightly and rubs her forehead as she reads one, and also has no idea about anything Robert is thinking in his house of glory that is better than adventurers that noone would know about.

A certain halfbreed in muted green boiled leathers can be seen tacking up a note next to the "modified" message, with a snicker.
To the Illustrious Chef Robert du Caris,
Greetings, and salutations! I would very much like to apply to be your Arbiter of Flavor. I believe my sweet tooth may very well be what is in order to get your wonderful pastries and culinary delights out of the limelight, and into the sales booths. It would be a terrible shame for such an opportunity to go to waste for Kohlingen, so let's not spare any time in feeding me getting your righteous name cleared of any besmirchment!
For pie!

Many of the noble houses of Kohlingen, many of whom have entertained Robert of Caris in their own manors, attest to his goodly and proper character, and do so without littering the public atmosphere with so much ink-splattered toilet paper. They simply state it to their servants, their guests, to the merchants with whom their servants do business, to the peasants who call on them for adjudication or grace or the settlements of disputes.
Word spreads quickly enough, and the indictment, intended to spur other nobles to laying on Robert of Caris, is effectively crushed.
