I have the cd key, but lost my disk. Does anyone have a legal method of downloading the game if I have the proper cdkey?

technically, no.
I can explain from a similar experience I had, I was showing a friend command and conquer : retaliation (fps) online multiplayer when the disk litterally exploded in the drive, we called westwood and they told us that to replace the play disk and thus the game it would cost the same as buying it. downloading it they said wouldn't technically be legal.
so unfortunatly losing the disk means buy a new one. its illegal to support piracy even if the story be true. backups are a grey area but this forum isn't the place.

NeverWinter Nights Diamond Edition Uploaded 10-21 2007, Size 2.54 GiB + MagicDisc + Google + Your legal CD keys = Has worked for me for ages (then I bought it off GOG anyways).
There's no reason to be all hush hush about ISOs if you own a legal license. Just shouldn't link to the sites.

If all that doesnt work I can .iso my copies of NWN SoU and HotU and send them to you, if youve bought the game legitimately then yeah it isnt piracy in a technical sense.
In point of fact ive got 3 copies of the discs laying around just in case one of them craps out. Plus every so often ill reburn the base game and wing the cd's around the parking lot. Its amasing stress relief.

My problem is I'm in China right now... not sure if Gamespy is sanctioned here. I just know that WoW is no longer the only 'outside' online RPG allowed now. I left my NwN CDs at home... going mental from social withdrawals.

Direct IP connection should work (Through the shortcut's Target; +connect 84.243.255.52:5121 for A and +connect 84.243.255.52:5122 for B). If not that, then try a VPN.

You can also just go to "LAN" rather than the other option. Then click direct connect and type in the IP adress. If you can't access Gamespy and login, you should still be able to hop on Amia since they removed the gamespy login check thingy in favor of the CD key check.
