A small OOC note to the public notice posted here: I know that some of you roleplay visiting graves on Moribund because family members of your characters, or old friends, or maybe old PCs, are buried there. Or maybe DMs know about specific plots that have been used for story purposes. If you roleplay these things that is what I guess I am asking for in the public notice, and you can PM it to me or post it there in the thread. It would be convenient if you can point to a very specific headstone/tomb/burial plot you roleplay visiting, either by screenshot or by description, but you don't have to put yourself out, and I don't really know how many people actually roleplay this, but in case you do I didn't want to leave you out if I am able to go forward with something I am planning to do. The more players that are involved, the more RP I get, and that's good for me. Thanks. Also sorry if this is not the best place to put this, but I don't know if everyone that roleplays having a loved one/friend/somebody buried on Moribund reads the PC Notice Boards.

I approve of your initiative. Keep it up it looks interesting!
..I'm not a DM though! So do wait for them to comment about IC goings on, you may wanna poke Yossarin, as he's Cordor's Hancho to get things rollin'. :>

Hallow, it is such a simple and effective spell... ... Until someone shows up with Unhallow of course, but that is what EO Templars are for.

EO this EO that. You're so stealing the stage, guys!
Yes, I'm just licking some hairy DM bum here.
Anyway, awesome.
EDIT: Btw, love it how the description of the letter and especially the handwriting characterize the endless toil of a Jergalite.

Well, Hallow is not a spell Neverwinter Nights gives access to, and even if it did my intuition says simply trying to use that to fix a problem would be anti-climactic, so I'm taking a longer and more difficult approach, but mostly because it gives me an excuse to have to roleplay with people when Braham would normally just hang around with corpses.

Have fun! My mortician used to hang out there but I spend more time in Benwick Graveyard now than there. I'll have to pay you a visit though, I think our characters would get along well. ^.^

With either: 1) The consent of all PCs involved in the specific event being worked on, or.. 2) .. The consent of a DM in a running event. You'd be able to actually use another spell to replace Hallow. *And of course take into account it's casting time and required components which is if memory serves a day, and "Herbs, oils, and incense worth at least 1,000 gp, plus 1,000 gp per level of the spell to be included in the hallowed area"* Sidenote: Incense is availibile and can be fashioned via the Job System's Alchemy job, not sure if it does anything mechanically aside from the small cloud you create when you use a vial, but it is a cool RP prop, in addition to being a needed components for some spells.(However, a good practice is to pick an otherwise typically non useful spell to represent the slot usage. However, being a Cleric you do have access to a couple of additional spells that are filler. I apologize for the question midpoint DMs but if he was to take and cast one of the spells that don't currently have any mechanics attached to them would it be harmful?)

That's helpful to know, thanks.
I haven't gotten any PMs about people who RP knowing who may be buried where on Moribund, which is my goal with this thread, but that's all right. If it encourages people to start doing that and having a reason to go to Moribund, that's cool, too. Just let me know if you do so I know who is buried where.

I know there are some important NPCs buried on Moribund. You should PM Yossarin. I know at least one of them has a marked grave.

It's going. Only heard from a DM telling me what some of the graves were, but no players, though, that use the graves, so that means I probably just get to make up more details with the DMs' approval.
PC immortality comes with the territory, really. I don't let it dishearten me. Thanks for the interest, though, I appreciate that.

I could have sworn a few players claimed their PCs were buried in Mouribund, but the only ones I can think of are old old players who've left. You'd have to get confirmation from them to make sure the PC is dead, but as they don't play here any more, it's probably not gonna happen. :/

I think he wants documentation or the like from you, can't ask him to make up your PC

I am beginning to appoint plots on Moribund to the deceased. I am just updating this in case there is anyone who has died and been buried in Moribund that I would know about. I know that Renais died but I don't know if she was buried on Moribund or if anyone else was laid to rest there. You can send me a PM letting me know and if any, which grave. (This goes to DMs, too, who know of any plots that might be a matter of public record, some of which I already have.)
