A note in flowing script is posted on the boards of cities and town alike. Bendir dale, the tower, cordor, to the temples of Lathander, the Grove, the mill, Wiltun, kothigen, and various other places where good folk gather.
This is the festival of light. Details of its purpose will be revealed in a short cerimony at the shrine before a festive celebration of the lengthening of days commences. Dance, food wine, or ale if you like that type of thing will be provied.
Do come to the shrine of Caraigh, and celebrate the herald of spring, for the dawn is a crest just over the horizon.

Nina spots the Bendir sign and comments out loud. "Huh. Caraigh has a shrine? You'd think if they were holding a festival of light they would at least have it at the lighthouse... I mean the building kind of is meant for light afterall."

A certain Simon Penaali sends a missive to Zortak, with a suggestion to hold the Festival of Light during the same time as the other festival Robert of Carais is holding alongside the other druids. He promises to show up would it be a merged party.

Zortak and The baron apparently met. The two celevrations are different from the other. *one based on FR and the other upon Druidic calndar year*
Zortak suggested both be held as one, but the Baron would prefer otherwise.

The festival completed, and spring on the way, having witnessed the defeat of winter by the green man, Zortak smiles at Eldania in her red dress and offers thanks unto her for the seemingly endless candles. From within the cavern we fade to black as they snuggle into a warm fur to hold back the nights chill, and one another. With the knowledge change, and spring were coming.
*ooc* thank you all who aided in this, the gods on high who helped add flavor atmosphere and life to the event, the folk whom offered prayer, inspiring words, and the warmpth of friendship. To Jack frost, and the green man. and again, to Zorty's 2 wives, who both keep the ship of his balance on course, dispite his best efforts to steer it into the jagged rocks. Velissa, and Eldania.
*ooc* now on to the next thing, fixing the shrine and the grove *winks*
