Is there an interest for such? If you'd be up for one-off events or shortish plots between GMT 12-22, please post below your characters and their affiliations. Or if it's super-secret, PM me.
I'm collecting the info to get a picture of what kind of events would be most demanded in this timezone. This isn't an actual sign-up for anything, at least yet.

Though I'm actually in PST, I am most available between 16-22 GMT. Oh and I absolutely love PnP style events and you would be my hero for at least a week should you choose to run some. Mains are Elandorr Starym, Monolith mage and Mathias Taern, freelancer of the Red Knight. Though given that PnP events are always a little different than most, I may even be tempted to play my opportunistic rogue Vastiel Ostaur.

I suppose I could try once... Unless it requires a specific type/level character which I don't have already.

And really depends of the time you plan the plot to take place, currently have other things to do as well. Got several characters I could use in these.
Gianu Hall, Halruaan mage. Not part of any faction currently, though not going to do anything "evil"
Afíenor Crésthienul, sun elven bard/swordman, lives in Winya.
Cealíre Elthiline, a sorcerer, not part of any faction.
Those all are epc lvl characters. I got at least one lower character if need be.

YES!
Godfrey, Captain of Robert's men at arms, below epic: Military stuff. Caraigh stuff. Smiting the enemies of law and order. Low fantasy atmosphere and telling silly Amians to keep their chaos, disorder and modern world ideologies to themselves.
Gagis, the EO Big Bad Boss Guy: Undead undead undead undead undead undead undead undead undead undead undead undead undead undead undead undead undead undead undead undead undead undead undead undead undead and faction stuff, diplomacy and relations with NPC settlements, which also usually has a lot to do with smiting stuff in areas that are under the control of other PC or NPC factions. (Cordor needs to BURN for keeping my holy wrath from reaching the vile and the wicked, for example)
Godfrey is probably more suitable for PnP-style events. Gagis is all about big faction stuff.

Don't quite know what you intend or mean with PnP, pen and paper I presume. But I'm in the Netherlands so chances are high I might have time and I got two characters one high level one low that I can easily play in any situation.

Sounds interesting. I got an epic ranger extremely devouted to Shaundakul and faithful supporter of Baron Robert, though not formaly affiliated with the man. General Caraigh and Endir's Point stuff. Big on brewing ales.
Other than that I have a level 16 human bard who's motivation can be broken down to 'Coin, Cleavege, fashion and fame'

I have a Duergar in his early twenties but I'd need an exact time and date before I can say I can be there. EDIT: By 'early twenties' I mean his level not age

I'm in!
Only one char in range, and thats a Hin Dex-based Fighter/Rogue (but an honest one!)
No Faction/affiliations or strong views really, but with a typical 'Bendir' outlook on things.

What I mean with "PnP style" is low combat (though not non-combat) and heavy on utilising skills not provided by the game engine alone. Basically, you need to engage your head moreso than mouse hand and quick slots (although, you do need to use your fingers for typing all those actions out...). The events I plan to run are heavy on story, too, and progressing won't be simple and quick. Most importantly, they won't be long plots that last for weeks or months but will be made up of a few sessions.

OK, here's the deal for the first event (depending on how this method of arrangement works out, perhaps for the rest too):
I will post an IC primer for the event in DM Story and the five first responders (or ICly, passers-by) will get to participate. The number of characters allowed is restricted to ensure easy maintenance of the event, and that everyone gets to participate for real.
For the sake of continuity, we'll utilise a liberal time interpretation: the events in the primer will happen when the event is about to begin, and that is when your character will walk into the scene. So the primer kind of happens in the future. This invites metagaming, I know, but to curb that once the participants have been selected (ICly, who happened to pass by the scene first) the event is closed and responses from other characters will not be noted until the actual event has taken place (or has begun, though purposeful gatecrashing will have consequences; if you didn't get into this event, wait for the next please).
The starting location will be a public, populated place. I'm aiming for places that almost anyone might have business in at some point and for some reason, so your character doesn't just pop up in a place they'd never go to otherwise. However, if your character absolutely wouldn't go to a certain location for any reason, I recommend waiting for the next event.
I will post the time of the event in the primer, and I hope anyone "passing by" will make sure the time suits them. Also, it's appreciated if you come up with a nice IC reason to be at the event location and include it in your response, if your character has traveled a longer way to get there.
Is that understandable or does anyone have questions?

One silly question just to clarify. Can we still play the character that entered the event outside of it while the event is ongoing (on going in ooc terms)

hadeismetirion wrote: One silly question just to clarify. Can we still play the character that entered the event outside of it while the event is ongoing (on going in ooc terms) Yeah. That's why the forum primer happens "in the future". Consider it a beginning of a RP that didn't yet happen, but is decreed by the Fates to happen. A bit weird, I know, but I'm nitpicky and don't want random people to just pop up for no good IC reason. I want random people to pop up for a good IC reason, like they would if the event wasn't scheduled. The Eurozone is a bitch because it's nigh impossible to just randomly grab some players who happen to be together at the right place and right time. Works all right when the server is more populated.

Evening times GMT always work for me. Here the characters I still play:
Malandria - Human Druid - Concerned with the forest, balance and nature
Playing occasionally:
Tarm - Satyr Bard - Concerned with the forest, feys but of course also festivals and music
Ryriska - Half-Devil Wizard - Concerned with anything that could benefit her personally. Increase of wealth, power, knowledge.

GMT evenings would be great for me, 7pm-12.
Nathanril - lvl10 Ranger archer, follower of Solonor. Gufnar - lvl8 Fighter. No affiliations, apart from an obsession with fish. (Be interesting to see how that goes in a PnP style environment, Intelligence isn't his forte to say the least.)

I'm either going with the bard Toag or Pieter de Vries, whoever he is...
But Malandria and Toag would make a great mix. I'm sure they can annoy eachother endlessly.

Hmm... I just noticed that the doctor's lectures are supposed to end at 19:00, but he usually lets us away some 20 minutes before that. Nekhy, is it okay if I'm running 5-10 minutes late? (Might be on time, as well, depends on traffic.)
EDIT: I'll go sign my character in. If it's not okay, don't take my post into count and please inform me somehow.

I'll put next week's event on a different weekday. And you're allowed to be late for 15 minutes. Academic quarter. But not later than that!
