Mrs. Se'lin, I humbly request you don't attempt to lecture those of a faith unless you yourself are an authority of it. As you are neither a cleric or involved with the teachings of Eilistraee except to "impress" your husband, it makes you cause yourself to appear a fool, especially when you chose to marry one of the "whore dancers" I believe you called them, or perhaps it was someone with your exact same attitude that said that name.

To those of the "ale in amia forest movement" your request for a tavern is being discussed amongst the grove. I pray you will not act without approval of such as it will only cause further fighting in the forest. Also please bare in mind, the forest is home to many of us, and if outsiders come in and try to build something that the residents collectively don't want, it won't be built.

*Rose reads the notice and shakes her head*

Wouldn't a well stocked pack be just as good? Hell if you want something to drink in the forest I'll just bring my packs and hand them around. I pretty much stopped drinking anyways. That would be better than errecting a building in a sacred forest. The decision of course is not up to me, but that is my opinion on the matter. As far as posting laws in the forest I -have- suggested that, but honestly one need only use some common sense. I must say, however, there are others that need it spelled out for them, unfortunately, and that is what prompted the suggestion.

I'm sorry. I'm at a loss as to when I asked for your (or anyone's) opinion, or gave the impression that said opinions are actually worth anything.

Should I have made you think such, do accept my apologies. The moment you matter, so will your opinion.

I'm sure most the isle knows who I am, I'm affriad I have no idea who you are, so in light of such and following your train of thought, I'll have to dismiss your statement since to me you don't matter. What a preposterous way to think of things -every- opinion matters.

If that is your feelings on the matter, you are welcome to keep your opinions out of the forest and away from postings in the forest as they are not asked for nor worth anything.

She gives an amused smile reading the postings, and flounces off, deciding not to clarify whom she's speaking of.

And so it begun. The celebration that lasted a Day and Night cycle, Amidst the cordor Festival grounds countless people from all professions and classes came, flowing in one by one, until quite a number had gathered.

The host, The man of the eve, With red eyes oh so glistening in the moonlight, dashed around and spread out the free drinks and attempted to socialise with each and every-one at the same time. Like a demon on 'E', He bolted around at a flying bird's speed, keeping spirits and hearts up, fluttering the hearts young ladies, and young lads alike.

The party erupted into a caca-symphony of drinking, playing, storytelling and singing, and a lone goblin stood amidst the celebrants at midnight, preforming tribal dances and participating in his own way. It's a sight to behold for most, and for some mayhap not so. As tongues were slightly more relaxed, people started to speak.

They spoke of the idea, The creative opportunity to erect a tavern, and inn, midst the beautiful forest of Amia, At the crossroads themselves. Some protested at the idea, Some encouraged it, Some remained rather bland about everything and helped themselves for the drinks and snacks.

But a thought had been planted, an idea had sprung up admits the multitude of different people. A goal had been presented, a road which needed paving.

Build it in the Trees!
Build it underground
What shall we call it?
What for?

There is no use, They won't allow it
I will make sure they allow it

We can have bouncers
We can have preformances!

Why there, There's bendir inn allready?
Or kampos, Remember kampos!

More questions than answers. But they all agreed upon one thing - Simon the bard was tonight's Ace, The Supreme Solar, The Wonderful Wonder-maker!

[The rally has been going at a slow but steady for its entire long duration, people came, gone, told stories, and drank ale with crackers. Some fighting was offered but no one took, and then all sat down to hear Rad say his piece:]

Alright folks, I think I'll start with the offical reason I brought you all here.
You all know I'm planning to build a tavern.
I'm asking for your support in any way you can give, as you can see I'm not lacking in resources or motivation, but I need people to realize this is all not just a dream!

The tavern will be awesome, there will be sale posts, a performance stage, a bar...

There won't be fighting in the tavern! This isn't an arena!
I want to make sure you all understand I'm NOT starting a war against anyone!
There is nothing wrong with bars and taverns in the middle of a forest, there are many of those in the mainland for a reason!
I want you to know though that mostly important, the inn WON'T HARM ANY OF THE NATURE AROUND IT!

My plan is not to compete with the druids over ownership or with the Hin inn or Kampos over customers, but to share suppliers and resources to make them all wish for the building of the tavern rather than the non-existance of it!

I already tried to talk to the folks at the grove, once in person and another time by a letter I sent from responses I got from your posts on my signs! And I wasn't answered!

I will discuss my offers with the grove when they are ready to discuss!

But before I do all of this, I want to know people show support in having a lively tavern at last on Amia!

People don't come to taverns for the ale!
They come to it for the people and the atmosphere, this is what the forest has and that's why I only want to improve all of that!

[As Radilith finishes his words, the rally goes on for a little bit more... but eventually it ends and dies out]

// I'd like to give an OOC hands out to Svensk, he knows how much I love him!
Also, Nai's player. Deserve a major thumbs up for helping me all along the way, and of course.
Added!: Of course Timb, Wiggy's char! You couldn't bring Lom but everyone wanted a silly gob to be there, and you got him!
All the bards and disguised druids that came along !
Even Thy who jumped up in the end.
Great job!

There is no more discussion, your request was denied as well as you are incorrect about having not being responded to.

The Building of a Tavern, inn or any other constuction in the Amia Forest will not be tolerated. The wilderness is to be maintained as it is. You have enough taverns and inns in Cordor, Bendir, Kampo's and all the surrounding cities.

Those who attempt to do so will be dealt with accordingly. Consider yourself to have been warned.

[Recent rumours around Cordor ongoing between Radilith going mad and playing with Fish, Tieflings and Druids, another about quitting his hat trend, and the final about the reoriginization and thought-pattern of the tavern.

Rumours claim it will now be a Cafe' called Farake' Asar* (The Forbidden Fruit translated from Alzhedo) and will be a Calimshan-styled open bar theme that instead of requiring major building on the forest will be an open bar routine that will be a few tables, cushions and so on spread upon the forest's floor.

Nothing much is sure as no offical notice has been issued yet (and all know how much Radilith enjoys issuing those), and it is known that Radilith is now in negotations with the Hinn Inn in attempt to acquire them as the main suppliers.

~Interesting shift of tacts.. but I don't fear the Druids will go for it just as they didn't go for the bar. ~ he thinks to himself.

Being a hot discussion topic in the forest, Crow hears these latest rumors and recalls telling someone:

"Doesn't anyone see that this fool is simply trying to amass gold? Once he has what he wants, he will take the gold and run. He would be moronic if he truly thinks his little 'bar' will ever last more than the time it takes him to set it up. He would spend more gold on buying new items than it would ever be worth."

Rolaen quietly observes the mass of papers covering the trees surrounding the crossroads and mumbles.
Scribbling on a blank piece of birch-bark, he tacks it to a tree in a visible place at eye level.

~Even here, there are too many people.
What is civilization, but a mass of people squatting on tame land,
polluted by their taint?

Is this forest not civilized then, if the beasts are gone,
and there are people here,
leaving their trash strewn about,
in soggy clumps of month-old parchment in the brush?~

Dear crazies and fellow forest loving buddies alike,
First, Joke time to lighten the mood:
Ever notice how many Druids are super literate in Common and likely other languages as well despite being all against paper, writing on wood, or etching in stone? Think about it. Just saying...

Now down to business, this 'movement' hasn't gotten any. Movement implies motion and this seems to be pretty dead in the water to be honest. Just kinda sitting here like a target. Why stoop so low as to antagonize or bother responding in any other way to these messages outside of simply destroying them? If they are really write-offs, then just ignore them. Education seems one of their lesser callings.

Sometimes a swift kick to the shins usually gets the point across that they are being a moron. Not telling you guys how to run your forest, but antagonizing and or giving attention to igit folks has tendency to encourage them.

Besides, who would seriously want to build an Inn so close to two others? We Hin have a great place to drink and laugh that even has seating for Tallers! How about those apples? Come see Scenic Bendir Dale today! Or, if your an enemy of the Dale, go prance your merry way on up to Kampo's. They service all sorts of folks there.

I could see building a tavern in the Spider valley finding some support, but no one likes spiders, save for Miss Blade and perhaps all those worm elves that don't enjoy a good natured naked stroll in the moonlight.

Roscoe, in wandering by, takes a moment to stop and read. A grin comes across his face when he comes to the end of Toby's message and his use of "worm elves". His note gets a dirty thumbprint added to it in approval.
