*A trail of blood leads from Bloodmoon terratory, through Bender Dale and Amia Forest. Anyone attempting to follow the trail would either find themselves in a cave before the Idol of Bane, or to an unrecognisable corpse near Guldorand, laid out on the bridge where the Baneite Fortress once stood*

Some travelers may claim that they've witnessed an army of warriors dressed in black and green marching trough Dale towards the Amia Forest. Some could even swear that they saw a slave among them, who was dragged on a leash along the way.

No body could be seen, on land, but plenty of blood marked where it once layed. If any travelers were to be around the Sandy beach area, a headless corpse could be seen washed up on the shore.

Upon hearing the rumours, and tales of a trail of blood, a green-eyed shadow goes on the hunt...

// I kindly ask the players of the church of Bane to not meta Bendir Dale's militia. I would like a DM to sign off on Banites, let alone an army of them, or any group dragging someone on a leash, moving through Bendir Lands unmolested. Thank you.

// With the few milita the dale has currently with thier forces being split, would they really stop an army of banites? Not arguing a Dm signing off on it, but logic seems to prevail here

//17 buffed banites + about 10 summons would have whole bendir dale burned down to the foundations. so I don't think that they would react becouse they are carrying one slave.

//Not as badly split as you may think. Wasn't a 50/50 thing with the Regulars. The Dale still boasts a rather large sum of the militia due to reasons emerging from the Obelisk plot. Not to mention we have the Irregulars, but those are PCs and if none of them saw you then none of them did. The Regulars have been known to notify other Hin if they require assistance however.

17 +10 summons who die when the sommoner dies against 20+ Regular Militia men in uniform and gods know how many Irregulars and adventurers within the walls at any given moment let alone reinforcements from allies if it came down to it. Are you certain you want to push numbers? I'll leave the DMs to this.

//If I recall well, last time they tried to stop banites's hin ball, it ended not so well to them. All they were killed, including the captain. At that time, there were 6-7 of us. However, at this time, no threat was made so I don't see the reason they would dare to stop 17 banites buff buffed plus summons.

//wow, an stream of OOC pride in PvP? Really you guys? Leave it to a DM. What seriously makes Banites more special than any other faction that they can assume a reaction from NPC guards? Please, it cheapens our RP as much as it does your own. I am fine if a DM says it was too much to tango with so they stood their ground, but not you players.

Are you otherwise stating that next you get a keep we Hin can meta your guards if we say we are passing through? A parade of love joy and cake throwing parties can be arranged.

// We were told ages ago by the PC head of the guard that the ban was only within Bendir Dale proper, meaning inside the walls. Nothing was metagamed here.

And guys, please, put the e-peen away.

//You got me wrong, buddy. I truly don't care about the pvp thing, who will or not. My point is, no hin nor flower was harmed while the banites were passing across there. Unless we need DM supervision doing the great number walking around Bendir, then apologize. Also, what I mentioned above, it was not a good example of what I'm trying to explain, so erase that. I don't want anyone to take me wrong. I'm trying to explain that they would think, more then twice, about to engage a full armed banite without a good reason, since they were caught unprepared (I assume). They would keep in guard, but what else ? Also it was really quick. They wouldn't have proper time to assemble the soldiers, unless they're alert all the time. Last moment we had a keep, there were a few folks walking around and they were noticed by the guards, however not assisted by a DM. It would be meta if they walked into the gates, passing the guards on the wall. Anyway, this is what I think and what I have from my previous experience. If a DM says I'm wrong, I'll try my best to do it right next time for the good of the RP.

//To clarify, I am operating under the impression that the last orders the militia was issued when it was last under PC control which were KOS are being upheld by the Regulars. As we have undergone some changes in the Dale that may not have been made entirely clear to the public, I will try to be as informative as possible and see if that helps at all. Dale leadership, feel free to correct me if I am wrong.

When Jo took command as Mayor and shifted Regulars control to NPC General Noff, that was that. The standing guard is now entirely an NPC faction meaning we PCs cannot control them, requiring Gothic or Bobo to sign off on any suggested orders from ranking PCs. However, during this shift from PC to NPC control, unless specifically overruled or tossed out by Jo and Noff, the last standing orders to the militia governing the malicious (for lack of a better term) factions still stood as did Dale policies governing how such folks were dealt with. As the KOS orders were the last orders/policy we held and primary guarding of the Dale proper and lands from Enemies of the Dale now falls to NPCs I was left with the impression that DM supervision is now required as it is with any other trespassing upon NPC guarded areas.

As stated, our militia also has a second faction of which Nina and Lyam are co-captains. The Irregulars, which are the adventuring populace and allies, are tasked with aiding the militia when called upon and us co-captains are to act as liaisons for the Dale as the mayor requires in order to free up Nof to focus upon homeland security and council matters. Reflecting such, we have more Regular troops allocated around the Dale. The Irregulars are not a standing militia, but hey remain as PC controlled and are there to aid the NPCs, no longer the other way around.

//I am disappointed in basically every Banite's response in this thread. Gurth's is the only one even close to reasonable.

You are all about 2 days late to this argument, but in the future I suggest not saying "We own in PvP" as a reason why you should be able to ignore NPCs., because it is not, and you cannot.
