Summary:
Those skilled in the Arcane arts which Tarkuul centers around; Necromanc, Demonology, Anatomist, Astronomer , Herbalist/Alchemist, Thanatologist and other specialty areas, . Those skilled enough to teach/learn and those with a desire to spread their arts. The Magisterium are those specialized enough in teaching the Black Arts and those worthy enough to learn.

:Duties: All members of the Magistarium are expected to pay dues of 3000 gold crowns per semester for maintenance cost, secondly all are expected to be actively involved in lectures, field work, and contribute to the library of Tarkuul in some area.(posted books ore research notes) Lastly each members must Animate one undead to be donated to the city for use as it deems fit.

:Ranks:

- High Magestri Mortis (AKA Headmaster): In charge of the management of all students and staff of The Magisterium. They are also required to oversee all research and report and serve under The Commission of Internal Affairs. This is usually considered a position one takes before ascending to The Consulate. Though it is permissible if The High Magister is also part of The Consulate, more specifically; The Commission of Internal Affairs. Any major research or experiments taken place in tarkuul should be authorized by the High Magestri to ensure he is aware of any risk and can take preventative measures.

Duties: liaison with Magestri and ensure the running of lectures and research projects run smoothly, to oversee projects and research and ensure there is no risk to the safety of the city, as well as to promote, demote students as well as disciplinary actions for members of the Magisterium Mortis.

Administrative power: Ability to demote, remove, promote, discipline, authorize experimental research.

- Magestri (AKA Professor, Doctor, Teacher): One skilled enough to teach their chosen area or specialty. They are suspected to hold classes and engage in ongoing research.

Duties: To ensure scheduled monthly tutorials or lectures in various areas of the art. An perform ongoing research within the city.

Administrative power: Refer for promotion, minor disciplinary action, order those of lower ranks to perform duties relating to their lectures or official duties of the Magisterium Mortis as ordered by the high Magestri or directly ordered by the consulate.

- Lotark ( of each specialty area, Demonoligy, Necormancy, etc) Only one student of each specialty area can be awarded this rank, it proves the student is currently the best at this area of the art and are expected to attend lessons dedicated to their specialty and assist the Magestri.

Duties: to attend lectures that relate to there specialty, to assist Magestri in demonstrations and other research work. Assist members of the Maigistarium with research as well as perform their own.

Administrative power: may request resources for research such as Vateir or Alumni rank students, formal application to a Magestri for this request is required. As well as request funding & authorization to perform specialty research.

- Varteir ( loyal student that has progressed) Any Alumni that has proven themselves loyal to the Magisterium Mortis and has continued to show skill and understanding in there lessons.

Duties: To attend lectures and prove loyalty devotion and skill, as well as follow the requests and orders of those of more experience and rank.

- Alumni (AKA Student, Novice, Acolyte): A student of the Magistarium. They are suspected to learn and assist the more experience in research.

if you wish to rise beyond this rank you will be expected to attend lectures, an be actively involved in the affairs of tarkuul an the magistarium.

2. be seen attending to research an assisting others in such (via form posts in tarkuul, or icly with players)
3. adhere to the laws of the city an the laws of the Magistarium.

:Rules:

1. All members must follow the laws of the city at all times, and when in doubt of your actions seek council with someone of higher standing.
2. All members of the Magisterium Mortis are to show respect and civility to each other and to outsiders.
3. All members of the Magisterium Mortis are to follow the guidance of those that hold station above them.
4. All members of the Magisterium Mortis are to offer guidance and direction to new comers to the city, you need not share your knowledge but point those in the right direction.
5. All members making use of Magisterium Mortis resources or the resources of the city are to do so with caution and respect, those seen misusing or damaging said resources will be punished
6. All members must perform their listed duties under their rank, failure to do so will be considered dereliction of duties an miscoduct, leading to loss of rank or removal from the Magisterium.

The Duties,Ranks, and Rules of the Magisterium Mortis are subject to change at the whim of the High Magestri Mortis and the speaker or Consulates rulings and are currently undergoing change and development.

Let it be known that Vatire Draco Bloodcloak has shown an exemplary example of how to conduct himself withing the Magistarium Mortis.
