Is there a way I can determine the level restriction of an item, once I'm high enough level to equip it and that information has disappeared from the item's description?

Recreate it in the toolset. That's what I do.

Ah, but you see, that would require me to have even a moron-level knowledge of the toolset. which I do not. :)

Just try it a little bit, it's relatively easy to figure out.

That's pretty much the only way to see what level restrictions are what, unless you show the item to a lowbie and ask them to tell you what it is. You don't always have to option of doing that either. So it's best just to figure it out in toolset.

If you need to know, just ask a DM. We can tell in game. I'm curious as to why you'd want to know the level restriction after being able to use it?

Probably worried about the level of items shes giving to lower level players. If that's the case, you can ask the lower level. If they can't use it, its probably a bad idea. If its an epic item, probably an even worse idea unless they are around lvl 25.

Sorta kinda... I have a character who is a weaponcrafter, and who's thinking about opening a shop selling mythalcrafted swords. I was curious about how much mythalwork I could put on a sword before I was no longer able to sell it to my target market of characters in the lvl 8-12ish range. I don't think I'm pondering giving anything away inappropriately, but feel free to advise me otherwise if you disagree. :)

No, they don't. They overlap. If you have +4 enhancement and +5 AB, you'll gain +5 AB and +4 damage out of it.

Hence why the chart only goes up to +5 ab +4 enhance. If it stacks, it would be crazy. >_>

+5 enhance is for people who are mentally retarded. -nods-

I didn't entirely mean stack stack, I didn't know you could use AB and enhance on one item. also +5 is to hit things with epic damage resistance/the other thing...I forget exactly how it works but it stops things negating your damage.

that or weild an +5 bastard sword offhand and use the bonus to account for the uh, drop in stats AB >_>

Ah, okay.

I can understand the mix up, if I recall there's not an extreme amount of items in the mod that give AB and Enhance unless they're mythalled.
