This has been bugging me for a while, and I haven't been able to find an answer. This may be a noob question, but I'd like to know if the feat Called Shot, stacks? When you used the Called Shot on the arm, it reduces their attack rolls by 2, and if used on their leg, it reduces movement speed by 20%. I'm just curious to know if they do, or do not. It won't affect my prefernece ofr his feat, since I love Called Shot lol. Thanks for helping

I'm pretty sure they do. Occasionally, a critter will roll a 20 using called shot, and I get icons for the appropriate debuffs.

http://nwn.wikia.com/wiki/Called_shot wrote: Grants the ability to make a potentially disabling attack against an opponent's arms or legs. Called shots are made at a -4 penalty, and must overcome the target's discipline skill check. A successful called shot against the legs reduces the opponent's movement rate by 20% and gives them a -2 cumulative penalty to their dexterity. A successful called shot against the arms applies a cumulative -2 penalty to the creature's attack rolls. The effects last for 4 rounds, and so if you have high AB, you will be able to stack in a pretty heavy penalty to either AB or dex. This feat seriously shines on a high AB AA. Nuff said

I'd like to see Called Shots back in 3.5 Expanded...if it's ever released. I heard Wizard's of the Coast stopped production of 4.0 material.

That ... doesn't seem right to me. Why would they stop producing 4E stuff?

Maybe they finally got the notice that everyone thinks 4E's lore blows.

With a fast AA (monk build or hasted), with maxed out AB, you can take down just about anything walking with called shots. Just spam them at the enemys feet, bring it down to 20% speed (i.e. four hits in a row-quite easy if hasted and have the high AB an AA has) so it moves like a drunk slug and just shoot it to pieces. As long as the enemy lacks a buddy, you'll be invincible.

No they haven't stopped producing 4th Ed material. They have however created additional products that're compatible with 4E geared towards simplifying it for newer players wanting to get into it a bit.

I got a friend in the know, he says WotC is revamping 3.5 and dropping 4.0 I only hope it's true, I'm not saying it is fact.

You are probably hearing about the future of DnD Essentials, and how the man in charge of that hates 4e's basic direction and wants to bring it back towards 3.5.

if that is true, god exists. *is happy*
regarding called shot, culmative is the keyword here, both the dex drop and the AB drop culminate. effects last 4 rounds, the rest is luck.
we all know 4th ed was a marketing scam, "hey we just took pen and paper...and put it on a disk!" -_- nice job wizards...

Perhaps Tormak, I haven't spoken to him in over a month, so who knows.
Glyph, 4.0 was made for the new age video gamers to play pencil and paper. That's why so many old schoolers dislike the format.
