Svensk, won't work. I'm gonna have to change my gameplan up to throw at least one ability point into CHA pre-epic to get the pre-req (13) for DS/DM.

:?

Man I botch builds like crazy. xD

Ok. Then you get Overwhelming and Devastating @ Level 30 instead. No big deal.

Jesus Svensk you really need to quite using that font in stupid small sizing. It's really screwing with my eyes. I don't know how it looks on your screen, but maybe it's not jiving right with my 1680x1050 res? I swear I have to skip over any post you make with that unless I feel like copying it to notepad.

Small amounts are good, but not as much as I've been seeing it used o.o

Great CHA isn't selectable in a paladin's epic bonus feat.

What combination is the best type of a cannon? Not interested in insane smite good btw.
What is the best combination of a cannon including barbarian?
Is it possible to use quarterstaff and a shield with monkey grip?
How much MG costs anyway?

Monkey Grip Costs 25DC's
It's possible to use quarterstaff + Shield with Monkeygrip.

The Default Barbarian build is 24Bard/4Fighter/2Rogue.
The Cheese version is Dwarf/Half-orc. 24Barb/2Bard/4RDD.

well i am merely interested what combination of classes could inflict very high damage on crits (about 200 + -).

Also, is epic skill focus in intimidate going to get my will save vs fear DC higher in terrifying rage?
And should I take thundering rage or ewf (other epic feat)?

PS LOTR is the best book(s) in the world :P

And should I take thundering rage or ewf (other epic feat)? - Depends if you lack AB or Damage; But i'd go with Thundering rage. Since it gives a stackable buff of 1d20 Sonic damage + @On Hit.

FFS, this isn't a cheese build thread. Please don't do 4RDD. Treat Prestige classes with the respect they deserve. Being a Dragon Disciple isn't a cheap way of getting +4STR, its way deeper than that. Its a choice a character makes to walk a path of spiritual, psysiological and psychological change. Walking on that path for 4 levels to get a STR boost, but ignoring the rest? I struggle to imagine any character thinking that they want to be more like a Dragon when they first take the class, yet abandoning that quest as soon as their muscles bulge? Na. Unless youre willing to take 10 levels of Dragon Disciple, don't take any.

200+ on crits...a few builds can do this, but the main focus involved overwhelming crit (if not dev) weapon focus and specialization, WM bonuses, keen on your scythe (for x4 multipliers) and strength.

I have yet to figure a pure damage that good that can use shields, and crit range is kinda terrible without a sword so you need alot of luck.

i'd rather not guess at builds, but fighter, barb, rdd, WM, and a few others all add to the benefit. note you must have at the least 1 bard/sorc level for rdd. and I would not use it to abuse stats either imho you need solid rp to back it up.

improved power attack also, you could make it 300+ with some effort.

Cleric/Monk.

Two hander.
STR based.

Decent AC. Good Ab. Nasty damage. Equip it with a schyte, and you'll laugh.

'Cause no character (person) would EVER regret becoming part dragon and stop the transition, right? Or be unable to continue that path for some reason?

If you take any levels of any class, RP appropriately. That's all. There's nothing wrong with trying out a build for the mechanics of it and creating your character around that.

I'm going to go and recommend that you 'Zifon', If going Weapon-master, Should consider using Weapon 'n Shield for Survivability.

High damage is all dandy, But it's to no use if you can't survive 'Hitting' people.

OK figured it would be simple and I haven't really messed up so far.

Does black get me any bonuses? ;)

Probably doesn't belong here, but given this thread is about builds and possibly knows quite a bit about properties and feats then...

Can I get a property on a weapon, theoritically, that mimics a rangers "favored enemy" feat? But get it like

Favored Enemy: Palemaster

or

Favored Enemy: Freak

hm, after reading http://nwn.wikia.com/wiki/Favored_enemy this i get the feeling why not just +5 your sword? or maybe i'm missing the point.

there are several weapon properties that I have yet to see on amia (freeze for example, though it could be in there somewhere.) and on hit shield properties also, but those are confusing at best.

on hit: cast (call lightning) is the most fun addition xD.

The damage bonus from FE doesn't apply like that, Glyph, it's bonus damage done every hit done to a creature of that race, not enchantment bonus. 20 ranger means +5 damage done to creature, not that the weapon is treated as +5. In other words, even if the ranger was using an unenchanted, +0 longsword, he would still get an extra 5 damage on each hit. Although, the weapon would still have an enchantment of +0.

To answer his question, all I remember in the toolset is just gonna be a Damage Bonus vs Racial Type. Essentially the same thing.

ah I got sidetracked by the numbers...you can get race specific damage mods already...the hardest metal >_> can put a dent in the toughest enemys. (i dislike spoilers but go with me here...)

solution, find a weapon with a decent 1d? / 2d? vs [race goes here] and mythal craft, synth if your after a custom look, and you have a winner. alternativly like I said, its implimented, experiment with weaponsmith, or find a smithy who could shed more light on it.

Do massive crits do anything for a dev-critter?

Eg: is it worth mythaling onto your weapon? :?

Yep.. It adds another 1d8 damage to your attack when you land a crit (not 1d8xcrit just.. 1d8 flat)

Because alot of things will not die to dev crit.. Its always good to have extra damage

How much UMD would be recommended in amia, without afterwards starting to waste skill points on it?

The most expensive items I've seen are below 500,000. So I'd say 35 UMD will get you to wear anything and everything you've ever wanted. Most people tend to go with 15-20.

Actually I've hunted with an archer once who literally put my scimmy wm (who crits for about 160) to shame. How did he do that? I know little (nothing) of archer builds.

It's because the Scimmy user relies on actually 'Hitting', While most AA's have AB at 60+.

Imagine 60+AB and 5 attacks (rapid shot)
    Then 1d8Damage +5Mighty + 5-10Enchantment + 2d12Arrows.

Now imagine that the archer will hit nearly all arrows, While the scimmy user may hit 2/4 or 3/4, The archer pins nearly every shot and doesn't need to move about in combat.

If you add some rogue levels in there for sneaks, then you boost up that damage even more. One of my favorite AA builds is a rogue-heavy corner-sneaker that hits for around 120 on a pretty regular basis.
