Any regulars in Cordor would might notice that it is particularly quiet, tranquil and calm. No pranks, people getting pushed in the water feature, not even one dwarf's beard is pulled with a giggle from the shadows... Fox is gone. Anyone asking at the nomads would simply be told that they haven't seen her. Anyone to care so much to ask at the Three Steps Academy would be told she has been absent from her classes.
She was last seen heading out with a Dawnguard patrol...

A certain Karaturan shadowdancer whom has been watching Fox for tendays now furrows his brow. "Such a shame, I wonder what happened to the lass." He walks about cordor square a moment before slipping to the shadows, and making for his next class at the academy.

Someone does notice the absence of the little dancer. He gives up the bottle he's been drowning in of late, and concern marks his features, for the halls have been too quiet.

A student to go missing for a few days was almost common place, but for this student to go missing for even one day was odd. Very odd. She was a dedicated student. Her attendance record was almost perfect. But to hear only the chatter of the daily routine in the Academy was suddenly erie.
Derrin spent lots of time monitoring the goings on in and around Cordor, and he was very familiar with Fox's affinity with the Dawnguard. One in particular. He had heard the name San used.
Thats where he decided to start.

"More.." Pain whined as she purrs in content
Tilting the razors edge he moves to cut
"Hey, Ruin." pops out from the shadows, he jumps alarmed in doing so slicing across his palm, he winces and holds in a groan as he sets eyes on a pair of pale creamy thighs.
"G'damn it, Fox!" He pockets the blade and shuffles his boot over blood droplets and growls at her, she laughs, damn he hates it when they laugh.
She turns to leave before doing so she leans in and nudges him. Freezing he stares nearly shaking with effort to restrain. Noticing the Cordorian armed guards feet away. He laughs a nervous laugh as she dons her helm and activates her portal wand.
"Bye Ruin.."
He frowns after her torn, then turns putting as much distance as he can between them, drawing in sharp breaths he portals to his new home, a cavern on the seaside.
Next day he heads to Shadowscape asking the patrons at the inn then the academy, They've seen nothing of her.
"Hmm.. sneaky, Fox" He ponders before shrugging and adding to himself it's probably for the best.

In the Academy her things have simply been left scattered over her Bunk, open books, clothes even gold left on the floor, other students not wishing to disturb them. There is no note and none of her friends seem to know where she has gone, "She didn't seem unhappy or anything, I just don't get it." *** (Previously...) "What do you guys actually do on your patrols anyway! Apart from prance about in that blinding armour," Fox grins up at San and Sindero, Sindero sighs then gives her a hug, "We make sure no ones in trouble on the road whether they're lost or have been a victim of banditry and we've recently change the uniform, thank you very much!" Fox examines the new touch of red in the uniform and nods approvingly, "ok, well I'm coming too! Let me just get something a little more 'Dawnguardish' from the clothes store" and a little while later she returns with a white top, tight gold shorts and bright red boots. San bursts into laughter as she appears self-consciously pulling at her shorts, "hey! this is -your- colour style not mine! Anyway lets get moving." ...

A couple of concerned students have gone to masters and instructors at the academy about her disappearance, concerned and fearing the worst. On checking the morgues and temples those concerned would not find the lively red haired elf.
****
"Well check druids are ok here quickly, secure the forest, then head north and make sure no travels have been ambushed by spiders." Sindero instructed calmly, his tridant held firmly in his plate gauntlet. Everything seemed fine, Fox was enjoying playing Dawnguard and then they went north and everything changed...

Crow checks their usual meeting place and finds no evidence of Fox, other than his own mess of scattered and empty bottles of spirits and his tousled bedroll. He kicks a bottle across the room and watches as it shatters into pieces. Not satisfied, he then proceeds to throw the remaining bottles against the wall in frustration, the glass shards seem to be everywhere. He does not feel any better after this either, as he clenches his fists, a low growl escapes his lips. He spits into the fiery pit on his way out the door. Crow leaves for the Dale and heads north to a portal leading to Shadowscape where the Academy lies, he searches, and inquires of all in his path for the missing student. Finally arriving back in Cordor, he is approached by a hooded male figure who, after an interesting conversation, joins Crow on his quest. Crow ponders on whether or not to tutor under this one as they part ways to gather their respective gear. They begin their search with the Dawnguards...

[A note is posted in Cordor]
"Dear those looking for San and Fox, They have been recently captured on a patrol group lead by myself, those wishing to help I advice you contact either me or the Dawnguard first. The circumstances are dangerous and nobody should search alone. Please find me before trying anything.
Thank you.

Crow, on his way to see Captain Guston about passage to Kohlingen, spots the notice and stops to read. "Hmph, he was right then.." he says to no one and exhales long and slow. He shakes his head and mutters something about incompetence as he spins around heading for Lathander's Temple looking for Silvermane, his mood turning dark...er. He fingers the hairbrush lightly laced with red hairs that he lifted from a bunk the day before, thinking about the offer given by the fortune teller for a scry. The scent from the pillow etched into his memory, drives his will to proceed.

*Ruin spots the note and snarls deep and low, twisting his neck to one side, a patch of purple/black scales visible shimmering in the torch light*
"Too dangerous. . ." He huffs acid fogging beneath his hood.
"Maybe for you. . ." He turns from the notice shaking with rage, he paces cordor seeking Sindero Silvermane, purely to find her location so he can bring her back himself.

Fox has been missing for around a week (IG).
***
"Fox! Can you but something less indecent on; that outfit is not taking the rain well!" Snapped San handing her his jacket. "It is a little nippy, thanks," Fox covers herself in Sans large coat completely covering herself, "this is soooo boring-!" "Be quiet Fox!" San interjected. "Who goes there and what is your business?" Sindero inquires to dark figure carrying menacing red tipped staff. The dark stranger's lips curl into a hidden, sinister smile under his hood, "who is asking?". After a sharp exchange: suddenly... "well you can answer to my trident!"
Undead crawled from the ground and the patrol (Jenna, San, Sindero, Fox and Florine) drew their blades, and lunged for the dark wizard, but another appeared from no where. There was a flash of steel, blood and magic but the party fell.
Fox was moving lightly on her feet, she sprinted behind the 'new' wizard and launched herself at his throat, only to be caught and knocked out cold by a huge greater mummie... she awoke tied in an unknown sewer...

*Josalynn meets Mengala, who was just leaving the temple of love.
Mengala is obviously not herself, something troubling her down deep inside. After talking for a while Josalynn, who is joined by Araxus, her husband decide it best to go and search a place the no dawnguard would dare to venture.
Rax dresses in in suite and cloak worthy of any necromancer while Jos dons the same monk attire the Banites had so lovingly adorned her in just prior to whipping her with the chain whip, thus still carrying the tears from the whip along with the dried staining blood.
So as master and slave, Rax and Josalynn enter Tarkuul and head to the temple of Velsharoon where they search every jail cell, side room and hidden chamber. From there into the castle again searching cells, side rooms, even the library, trying to find any trace of Fox and San.
After nearly completing the task they find they have been followed by one from shadowscape. A fellow by the name of Derrin who is also searching for Fox.
They leave no room or chamber in all of Tarkuul unsearched before heading to a private room in the scape to talk to this Derrin and find out who he is and why he followed.

The searching of Tarkuul and Shadowscape turned out to be rather futile. No one has heard of the girl named Fox or seen lately anyone who would fit her description. At least they say so...

Unknown to Fox, Anasthia was hot on her captives trail, Crow not far behind.
***
After being questioned and searched their gear taken Sindero is set free along with the Dwarven Dawnguard who was turned into undead. San and Fox however were taken... first dragged through the underground and then taken to a house in the frozen north. It was here that a third dark wizard joined the first two... Fox shook in a separate room being watched by a ghastly Wright. She listened to the yelps and faint conversation from the adjacent room, "poor San". But then it was her turn, and one the coldest of the three tortured her with dark magic her screams echoing out into the frozen land.
Days pass and eventually San is set free with Fox's boots as proof of her captivity. Just one dark figure remains with her as she cries in the clutches of terrible 'Blaspheme undead'... (to be continued)

Janna had been the only one from the patrol not taken. She didn't know why they would have left her. She was rescued by a Gnomish mage, and she took that opportunity to head straight to the chapel of Lathander, with mage in tow.
Later that day she had angrily journeyed to Tarkuul, only to find nothing. She returned to Cordor, deflated but not yet defeated. The defeat came later on, when a dwarf said that San was dead.

Foilinars first Dawnguard Patrol was one he'd never forget, He'd been struck down by a staff and later awoke in the sewers. He had feigned death until one of the wizards had stabbed hard into his leg, He jumped up and attacked the man only to be hit with a barrage of magic killing him instantly. The wizards decided they would stuff a necrocyst down his throat and turn him undead. It remains a blurr to him until he awakes finding a rage ridden sindero looking down on him calling him filth, afterwhich Foilinar quickly passed out.
He later awoke in the Salandran medical wing a large scar on his mid section. "A'm quittin' those Dawnguard, this ain' worth it."

Crow's leg will not stop moving, he cannot sit any longer. The man rises from his chair in the library at the Monolith, goes downstairs and outside for yet another smoke, he seems to be going through much of the halfling smoke lately. Upon his return inside, he decides to explore this place while he waits impatiently for the results of the scry he commissioned, he heads upstairs on the ele..whatever they called it. Room after empty and boring room produces nothing of interest until he opens the door to a bedroom. "Holy sh..!" he cries out, spotting the prone form of the red Half-dragon he met earlier, it was lying in a quite large and growing pool of blood, the wooden stake protruding from his chest indicating the cause of death. Crow runs to Ixen and pulls out the stake, dropping it on the floor, he extracts a small book he bought for occasions like this and reads a page, this being the first time he used such an item. Success! Ixen's chest rises as his body draws in the breath of life, his unconscious mind silent. Crow digs out a healing wand he had secreted away for emergencies, says the divine word scratched on the side, and watches as the wand forces life energy into the being...several times. Just as Crow rises to stretch his back, the door crashes open and he hears: "What are you doing there!?" Crow spins around and stammers for an answer that will not incarcerate him, as blood drips from his hands. He holds up the wand to show the men who entered that he was trying to help Ixen. Crow watches with interest the Mages as they cast their spell upon the prone figure, trying to discern the cause of the accident. When it is done, Ixen rises, inquiring of his wife first and foremost in his mind. Crow, not needed, departs to wait for his results.
Crow spins as he hears the low growl of a predatory cat, in the library!? he thinks. The cat circles him as he backs away cautiously, watching the beast with a hand on the hilt of his very fine sword. Suddenly, the cat moves away and the figure of the Mage he has been waiting for appears before him. Crow sits with her and listens as she details the events of her scry on Fox, his heart racing with every word. He nearly bursts with joy when she tells him that she has located Fox! "Send me there now" he says, "be ready, for when I arrive, I will put her into the returning portal. There is room for only one so..." he knows full well the repercussions of his actions, he cares not for himself, only the safety of his friend. "Crow, wait, let us not be hasty, you must accept assistance in this. I want you to gather two more to go with you, then I will be prepared as well." Banshee states to him. Immediately, Crow thinks of Ixen, he is huge, rippling with muscles, but the trauma of this nights events prove too much and Ixen turns crow away to be with his wife. Crow, understanding, goes to find a cot and wait until the red is in a better mood.
Soon...

If the scrying was attempted, the one preforming it would find the image very misty and unrecognizable. Meanwhile, somewhere, well hidden, the dark robed man glanced at the small magic device attempting to spy on him.
"It took them more time than I thought it would. This location might be compromised. We are leaving immediatelly."
With those words, the man picked up another piece of shattered mirror and hid the elven girl, as he did before, while traveling. He simply took out his wand and conjured a portal, dissappearing in direction unknown.

Banshee the diviner closes her eyes in frustration, her hands slipping from the crystal orb, she looked at the hairbrush in her hand with a clever thought. "Time to try the alternative."

*** (Previously: Continued...) In the clutches of terrible 'Blaspheme undead' Fox screams, "ahh let go of me!" at that, she is thrown into a couch. Having slipped her ropes previously and re-tied a 'fake knot', all the ropes at this point fall off. "Well, Well, Well" the dark figure approached slowly gathering the rope from the floor, "it seems will require something a little more secure to keep you in check," he utters as he brandishes a large metal collar and chain. "No! No! I wont wear that!" "I'm am sorry, but it appears to be necessary" and with a metallic click Fox was literally leashed. After a little while Fox had calmed and began to explore the nature of her captor. "Is it really necessary to have that thing in here," she points to the Blaspheme, then pulls at the chain attached to the collar "its not like I can escape anyway." "I suppose," her captor nods to the creature and with that, it leaves. Not wanting to push him to hard Fox waited patiently in the room. Anasthia had found this location in Hownesss and negotiated with the captor so it was only a matter of time before the academy came down on the location, hard...

Pacing, pacing anger builds, he's seen The Dawnguard everywhere, in there gold and white, but now not a thread of them in sight.
Anger grows, it's been far too long, he frowns, covering his face, shaking images of Fox being tortured from his mind, peeking back inside the Chapel in Cordor, nothing, he growls in frustration and goes back to pacing outside the Temple doors.
"Take care of yourself, hey?" Her words ring in his ears, If only he'd known, he would never had let her go, in attempt to sate his anger he palms a tiny dagger, nicking his skin, leaving tiny dots of blood in his pacing steps.

Ozy and san can be seen trying to make contact with those who have fox, tho it seems no-one has a clue how. |Ozy and san have sit in the chapel discussing what can be done yet all seemed lost, so many had offered to help but none were willing to do what had to be done to save fox from a fate worse than death.
"we have to free her and trade San" ....
Placing a quill down ozy folds up a letter and seals it with wax, "i hope isoive my love can forgive me for what we are about to do", San nods to him slightly as they ready there equipment ozy solids takes out a key " this was given to me by Yaston years ago when the dawnguard joined the triad, we can be in and out before they know it", with that they left to do what must be done to save a friend.

*** ... Fox sits and chats with with her captor, he gives her his name as Nathano Darkfire and they simply chat. While he sits silently waiting for news of his demands (the release of Crimson), Fox gently asks questions and gossips away to him, he allows her to change from her muddy Dawnguard outfit into her normal clothes but then suddenly he seems alert, holding her leash tightly, "it appears we have unwanted visitors, we are leaving." With that Fox finds herself being pulled through a portal where she emerges in a dark underground city. Her eyes, well adapted for the darkness, adjust quickly and she immediately identifies the location as a Drow settlement. "We must move quickly," Nathano pulls the chain, "I'm an Elf! I'm not safe here!" "You do not have to worry yourself about that..." Nathano Mummers darkly back to her as he pulls her into a deep cave... lower and lower... darker and darker until he reaches a small secluded hut. "We will remain here for now" ...

Those who visited the Chapel of Lathander would find a small letter bellow the idol. Upon opening it, they would quickly realize that the letter is written in blood. Someone might recognize Fox's handwritting behind this grim message.
