Mmm... Waffles.

But yes, I have to say to the OP that situation is odd indeed.

And Lally, I knew it was a Welsh name, I also found it ironic since of her class and all. Cerridwyn has a root of Cerdd which is poem. *Nodnod* It's only fitting.

I've always loved the way some Arabic names rolled off the tongue. They're just Magical. I don't know why.

In my mind, ^ irrefutable proof Dwagin is really a girl IRL. >_>

I think its because Rras is too manly, and their weeners would shrink if he was played by a girl.

so they have to assume otherwise

You forgot the lead-in. Need the lead in.

Merrien: says since everyone mistakes you for a boy on the forums.... I think it's sexism b/c they think girls can't like dragons. purely speculative of course.

Dwagin: I think its because Rras is too manly, and their weeners would shrink if he was played by a girl. so they have to assume otherwise

All my names are ridiculously simple. >>

Although.. I have to agree now saying Yossarin the correct way instead of westernized.. it is so sexy sounding. lol

I've always pronounced it Yossarian.

(damn, the strike through of the 'a' isn't very clear. Ah well.)

Pretty well, really. Although Finnish names and words are awfully difficult to describe with English pronunciation, I can find nothing closer but maybe Tuo-mas. A bit like when you say "duo" only with a T in the beginning and a tad faster.

That's a good explanation especially with me since I tend to pronounce any word I am unsure of in Spanish in my head.

Calin Katar is a name given to your character if you use the random name generator in Knights of the Old Republic.

I'm going to make a character with a name that in another language translates to "Tormaks Mum".
