I think I finished the hak update. Download this: http://www.amiaworld.net/files/hak_v2.7z - Haks And then go to the test server at 84.243.255.52:5123. Use direct connect if you can't find it on the server list. There's no password. I added an updated version of the crafting system to the test module. Test that as well. Just stick with tower shields, cloaks, and clothing. I don't think I changed anything else that's relevant in the crafting menu. You can download this module to test stuff on your own PC: http://www.amiaworld.net/files/hak_test.7z. You still need the hak pack for that, of course. The more errors we find right now the less updates we have later. With a bit of luck this is the final version and you'll have to download it anyway.

the tilesets are astounding, the woody villagy one reminds me of oblivion, in a good way.
the interior where you start bugged me a bit, like wiltun the higher meshes don't clip with the camera, resulting in alot of pure blackness if you don't screw with the cam.
um, still finding my way around, will update here ^_^
ed: new forest made me jawdrop, i could literally cry with joy, its that good. no bugs so far.
ed2: some blank armours and cloaks...no biggie but i assume a few of those are supposed to be something other than a blank slot...loving the new cloaks and items, everything so far has worked, i'll let you know if something specifically does not.
ed3: d.ddd.d ispla....O_o nice monsters. the mushroom thing is immune to everything I try, including tanking with a dragon, so idk how to find out if the death animation works for that. also that spider scared the heck out of me, I hope there arn't alot of those...
um, killed everything but the grassy and bird looking construct, and the mushroom, idk if its a bug or cause of some specific way to kill them that was left in the test module. all maps seam good, no clipping, no random appearance on top of things, all items work well and appear good, not much lag compared to amia, I think its all good ^_^ need more opinions though.
also forgot to mention, nice job on the doors, they all worked for me aswell. (tested on my pc not online.)

Are you sure there is no password? I just had a quick poke, couldn't get in via DC. "Wrong password". Passworld field was empty.

Monsters: Amazing! Tile Sets: ... relevant linkCloaks: The Pointy Hat, as cool as it is, seems to have an issue with wings. Its one helluva magic trick: *puts on hat to hide wings* Cloths: All seemed functional. new 'nude' model for Kobolds: Try as I might I couldn't get that to work. Do I need to Leto my file in order to get it to work properly? The models for them look fantastic! I simply could not duplicate it unfortunately.

Not playing on Amia at the moment, but I will bash this hak into oblivion and back.

Okay, so I went, took a nap, learned what I was doing, and went through the hak. First I made nifty crafting stuff, and various things came out extremely awesome I must say. xD However, for that "Monk" Robe, is it possible to set it to where we can have it change our heads when equip? (Like those old hooded robes.) Cause out of the 50 someodd helmets, none really make a nice bland match to show just the hood, (but some of the horned ones do make it look neat xD) Anyway, on to the good stuff.... I fking love it. Includes tons of new monsters, and I suppose were seeing an entire overhaul over all underwater creatures? On top of the many awesome monsters, robes, and tilesets, (Which you'll have to see yourself.) There are awesome placeables/Dropped item skins, and yes, an alphabet! D: Im suspecting evil mythal forges? D: Or something just as sinister. Bottoms to cliffs, (note the aforementioned hair poking....) I was super duper excited, and was playing with tons of stuff.... Until I broke it... This is why I cant have nice things ._. It happened directly after I "Hold Monster"ed the thing in the corner, and "Mass Haste"d the others. Oh, and yeah, the mushroom and some earth elemental things are invincible I believe. Anyway, hope I helped. ._.

Checking the stuff of the previous test hak again. The following still happens: BlackDahlya wrote: It also shows the head when the NPC turns to face you.
Regarding the tiles, I am mentioning what I noticed, though I am not sure if you already know (sorry, I might have missed it if it was said on the previous posts already):
- Area 002: At the ruins (city exterior or rural, maybe?) I was having pathfinding problems. I could not go straight to a place I wanted. Might be it is done like that since it is a testing module, but I still thought I should mention it.The desert ruins were also having pathfinding issues and I was unable to walk with mouse clicks, only using the keyboard keys.
- Area 002: At the dock-like house, when you walk over the wooden ground you are walking on the water. It is as if the house is not even there. You can walk right through it, too.
- Forest 005: it is a wonderful sight, though as I expected when I saw the screenies, it lags me. Not horribly so, but I wonder what would happen at the server's peak times/DM events. Obviously, the problem is my computer that can barely handle these graphics. I lag at Wiltun, Underport and L'Obsul. =(
- Area 006: I started lagging within the fortress-like building. As with the forest, not horribly so, but I wonder what would happen at the server's peak times/DM events. The new areas worked fine, but I did not attempt crafting yet.

Just a question.. when will this Hak be implemented in? And when it is, I assume you can't play Amia unless it is..?

*Sniffle* Clothing options...demons...accurate summonings (Merut Inevitable!)...realistic enviroments... I loved it!! Had to download the module to my computer, but no errors on my end. And I laughed when killing the fiends made me evil ... I want this soon ...edit: The sherlock holmes kobold is missing his legs... his feet are there, but not his legs.

sorry dude, i'll um, write the numbers down, might take me a while, it was a few cloaks, before the newer model ones
ed: with Null, 7 and 27 both bug and show the previous cloak in the row for crafting, I have to assume #20 is the 'invisible' cloak.
with Hazy though (halfling) there we're more issues, and none of the deity cloaks showed up, I only just found out they we're there O_o
also the original ones aka the ones on amia now, are doubled in the list, after about 19 it repeats, 7 and 27 are the same cloak. I think...
ed2: for clarification, I am testing on my pc with the module, I could try online I guess if you need more info and beta testing =)

disregard my previous comment about halfers, its working now, think it was cause I didn't clear my pc's memory or something...hate vista I truely do.
i'm on the online one with a clone of hazy, all seams well, much lag but I am stood next to 20+ npcs.
ed: will some of the creatures in the done version support animal empathy? provided they are animals? I just noticed they are all disabled on that, but I assume its cause its a tester.
ED: ew I found an ugly one, the deck of the house in area 002 near the northeast corner, at the mouth of the river, doesn't let you stand on the deck, you invis through it into the water. also you can walk into the house, as if it was an illusion.

The house is not part of the tileset but a placeable object. You'll never be able to walk on it.
The lagging in the first area is to be expected. There are way too many NPCs in the room. Gives a nice illustration why you shouldn't linger in the Entry.
All the original cloaks are doubled with ones that show wings.

I absolutely love the forest tileset. It's... I love it! Love it I love it I love it. Really reminds me of strolls through various woods around here. LOVE IT!

All the original cloaks are doubled with ones that show wings. For the un-winged folk, that also means things like backpacks, sword scabards, and arrow quivers. Ran around in some stuff and everything seemed alright to me. Admittedly I didn't look very hard because I have a thing with doing non forum stuff before work on work days. Deity cloaks look good. Tilesets look super duper.

I had a look and it was awesome. I most liked the forest and the city/village area that looked bit like mount and blade or similiar middle aged buildings. One down side is, I hate the looks of Lolths deity cloak, no offense, but it looks absolutely ridiculous to me. Everything else was cool and alright! PS: I managed to bug myself in the forest when I opened and closed the doors near transition to next area, so that I was jumped up the cliff where the door is. Couldn't get down so made another char

Anyway, did anyone spot any errors that need fixing (outside the ones that have little to do with the hak such as the lagging in the first area and that house you can walk through)?

Only stuff I found: walking outside the forest (I think) is a large double door on the right side.
Door was open (both sides facing my toon). Couldn't get in. I closed doors, opened them again and this time they were opened *the other way*. couldn't get in either.
not sure if this is clear... - is it normal doors open both ways - was there any transition nearby ?

Thats because there is no transition there at all. Its just to show off the doors.
