I wondered which drugs are actually illegal in which parts of amia. For instance are the same ones illegal in Wiltun, Kohlingen and Cordor? And what about smaller towns such as Uhm, Wharftown and Cerryn's Mill? With drugs I mean spite, green meanie, illegal pipe weeds, Cramchaw and charge. And with the poisons I mean the ingredients such as poison ivy, foxglove, etc.

Ohh those made it viral eh?

*rubs hands together and laughs wickedly*

Spite, green meanie, cramchaw and charge should be illegal pretty much everywhere. Dunno about the rest.

Would importing drugs from the book of vile darkness be a DC request thingy? Or would the DM's allow a herbalist to rename them with the scribe proficiency?

I have a similar question, if your not a herbalist/druid how would you know what they are? Including the guard. lore check?? (especially considering RP and the amount of herbs in your bag, I remember from a 'turn to page' style RPG book, one way to sneak past the guard at the beggining was to pretend to be a herbalist and stuff your bag with random herbs prior to arriving at the gates. would anyone without skill know a feverfew from a poison ivy leaf?)

Also i've heard of the pipe herbs of the illegal variety, but there are more grey area ones, such as maskaras seeds (sp, sorry I know I suck at spelling...) which are hallucingenic apparently if crushed but, are also a medicine if used right, system wise these do nothing but its the RP I am concerned with. I'm guessing they would be sort of like, not illegal until used...

um, last one for now, I can't recall any viable 3.5/3.0/FR 'herbs' from the top of my head...but whats the stance on tobbaco in, well amia specifically, it -is- a job system item with no secondary use other than RP I guess thus far, if your packing a pipe RPly with tobbaco and herbs is that illegal or legal?

regarding silent2001's question, 1. i'm guessing, that that would mean with work maybe, and not homebrew varietys more...FR oriented where possible...and 2, can you mythal herbs??? (maybe i'm find that out icly)

ed: incase your wondering why i'd ask such a random question....mythaled beer...nuff said...

Dev Crit Fish.

Past that mechanical flaw as large as a diamond mining pit in South Africa....perhaps dual wielding dandelions for a fey that's actually playing their fey in small shape and not eternal energized elf form. Ever see a dandelion leaf? If you could stiffen that thing or make a sword designed like it, you'd have something very painful but possibly good for blocking enemy blades on.

*wanders off to let the topic get back on course*

Hm..there is a plant that had a brief spot light on Amia called wintercress. Nasty stuff if you're creative.

canon FR herb lists are seamingly non existant according to google, I will have a look through the books I have but they are not FR just base 3.5 ...

we could of course, pour all the homebrew goodness into the descripts for the amia specific herbs, and stuff like moonweed has been taken from source but i'm afraid I don't remember what source that is...anyone? i'm still getting there when it comes to FR specific lore >_>

Moonweed wasn't from a canon source, really. It was from one of the NPC random convos Disco put in way back when. However, there are a pair of canon herbs used for the same thing. One's called cassil I think, and the the other is narra root. Both are from the DMG, IIRC. If you want illegal and dangerously addictive drugs, as well as poisons, you want the BoVD. Also, there's some "good aligned" poisons such as jade water listed in the Book of Exalted Deeds. Usually such only affect evil outsiders and/or undead though.

There's some very nasty stuff in that BoVD.

BoVD and BoED are the most broken, worst books in 3.5.
