Word from Adventurers has reached Bendir Dale, Wharftown and down the Coast of Cordor. All reports from the Adventruers mention that the Memorial of Rememberence at the site of the Wyrmhold Ruins has been destroyed and desicrated.

A large pile of Ash and Bone's lies infront of the now open graves. The Pillar dedicated to their memory now lies beside itself, cut clean in half.
The headstones have been defaced by Acid so their names are no longer legable. Aside from one headstone, which has been shattered.
The only traces of the coffins are a few broken pieces scattered about, some charred wood, and what looks like the reminants of coffins floating down the moat.
One corpse is propped up on what looks like a cross, tied to it to hold it in place like a scarecrow, a Dwarven skull rests on its head.
Behind the 'Scarecrow' a large message is written in Draconic on the stone cliff face.
[Draconic] "The Daughters of the Dragon have Come"

A relatively small humanoid, judging from the tracks, seems to have taken to skulking about the area, leaving black feathers in its wake.

Oddly enough, a certain red half-dragon makes his way there, on his mylock hunting trip, testing how his leg is holding up. Once noticing the display he begins collecting the large amount of ash and remnants as best he could. It would be placed within the graves, bit by bit moving soil and bone attempting to re-inter them, and set it as right as it could be.

The following is left, scrawled beneath the large message, clearly in blood which is scorched into the the rock, in a deep red, setting it.

Those who read Draconic script: "Wux vargach loex? Faessi. Sjek arizyak versvesh clax achthend mrith laerak."
Those who read Draconic script and speak the language: "You fought the dead? Coward. If you are so strong, take armed food."

In common another message is written, scored into a broken board from one of the coffins, A metal disk of many colors dangling from a leather cord tied to it:

"Experiment - Control yourself."

Words in common Scrawled in acidic burns by a magical blade below the burned bloody script words are added by someone.

Our king buried Benwicks dead and marked their graves, you failed to give Wyrmhold the honor it gave others consider this the first repayment for your actions.

Near by where a certain Imp often lurks a quick and crude alter to Tiamat has been erected and upon it sacrificed a small fortune in coins and gem dust.

The graves, earlier filled with the remains of Ash and Bone, now lie empty.
No aparant trace of what has been done with them, or where they are gone is seen.

The crude altar to Tiamat is removed of the gem dust and the coins and knocked over. Examination of the surrounding area would find no noticable trace of the dust but the coins are in the water below and various other places in the surrounding hills, apparently scattered. Written on a note tacked to the altar, in both draconic and common, is this.

False pretenders and petulant wannabes, you lacked the strength of arm or blood to maintain your hold of this place and now throw tantrums that none fear or remember you as anything more than a fallen nuisance. This is no longer a haven for your kind and your false delusions of importance and grandeur, go bother others who might actually care that you have a few tiny ounces of diluted blood in you. This island is done with you and your stupidity.

The day after the Crimsonblades hold their tourney and after one of the frequent storms appears over Wyrmhold ruins a terrible sight can be seen in the morning sun, at the heart of the keeps ruins an alter to Tiamat stands upon its a multitude of coins, dust from various gemstones and most noticeable the broken half melted to slag remains of a Silver ring of Bhamut the shattered holy symbol on its surface a testament to the fury behind what or who ever stuck the ring. The Holloweeds near by seem to be slightly withered their leaves a shade of unhealthy brown as if something terrible and profane occurred that very eve.

Without anything to actually back up this audacious claim of a giant shrine being erected overnight and money and gems and everything desecrated, it is nullified.

//Giant Shrine? what? no it was the alter made with the preacher Job, I and two other people went out to the hold and rped setting up the alter and sacrificing a silver Bhamut ring, excuse me for taking a little dramatic lisence with the halloweeds being a bit unhealthy. Sturm und Drang was there I asked them to remove the ring from my inventory rather then leave it laying around on the ground as it was destroyed.

As one of many storms rages over the ruins of Wyrmhold three figures trudged through the rain trailing behind them one of the walking dead. The three women paused and one wearing the symbol of Tiamat on her cloak strode froward and motions for another hooded woman armed with a massive scythe to set down a small stone alter. With that the tiamat cloaked woman and the other wielding a mages staff set offerings of gems and coins upon the alter.

"Our dark lady we give unto you treasures so that your ten greedy eyes might fall upon the wealth of our foes! We honor you and venerate your glory and the glory of your kin! May this place of your defeat feel your vengeful ire and the spirits of the champions who stood against you never rest in peace!" The Tiamat cloak garbed woman spoke raised a dagger recently bloodied with bloodmoon orc vitae and flicked a red arc across the alter.

The woman in the Tiamat cloak and the other with with the staff in hand then raised their voices in a dreaded draconic Hymn singing of the dark lady and her terrible power. As the other with her scythe stood disinterested and detached from the unholy rite.

"Your will be done, your word be law, your glory be praised" spoke both women in unison as their Hymn ended.

The two turns and started to leave the place of their unholy devotions the cloaked woman speaking quietly to the stave holder "Dragons Junction and this hold, belong to us, even in ruin, the Mylock and Bloodmoon squatters will pay dear sister and so will the men of Kholingan" The stave holder smirked under her cowl and added "The pain they suffer will linger long after the grave"

With that the three left into the darkness of the storm.

Another dark and dreaded eve passes at the ruins of Wyrmhold and once more the secretive cult of Tiamat leaves its mark only this time there seems to be a an old empty coffin with Benwicks seal on its lid laying before the alter and encircling both alter and coffin a ring of ash from burned corpses and tainted with necrotic energy. All that can be said was dark deeds were at this ruined place.

A stone slab (with non-detection magic and carved by a summoned being) is left laying across the letter its words carved in draconic.

Undead are a worthless slave race, our lady has always used such slaves.
Vengeance is our ladies, all of Unthar's gods fell for the wrong against her.
Dead and living alike will suffer for our lost land and valuables.
There is pride in victory and vengeance be it subtle or passionate.
We do not take advice from a pawn of the father who did not show his own daughter the love she deserved.
You know nothing of the Dark Lady or her ways, do not presume you do.

Written in Common on a scrap of paper that's only uniqueness is a basic enchantment to keep the rain or elements from destroying it.

Two daughters and the son of the once great lord of this place are merely throwing a tantrum. Their sire's great endeavor fell into ruin and, like the little children they are, they seek to inflict petty defilement and violence in the hopes of somehow reclaiming lost glory, out of either misguided and ill advise anger or a pathetic need for daddy's approval. They are weak and they are nothing.

Steel shod boots crunch the rubble beneath them and the wind whips at the cloak of an armoured figure. His sparkling blue eyes look coldly over the ruins as memories coarse through his mind. He takes in the various signs and correspondance and he nods to himself... this place needed to be watched, and watched it shall be.

As he turned to go, the emblem of a golden dragon emblazoned on the figures ancient cloak caught the sun. A Defender of Kohlingen had returned.... and his patrols had begun.

It has been some time, a year or more since last foul rites were done in Tiamat's glory at Wyrmhold's Ruins. A year the perpetrators had laid low allowed their enemies to forget them and grow wary of attempts to befoul the ruins. However as of late almost like clockwork a figure had been erecting a shrine of Tiamat and leaving a sacrifice of ten coins upon it. Another or perhaps the same figure in armor the colors of Chromatic dragons had also hammered in signs proclaiming the ruins to be the rightful property of the Emberblaze family before proceeding to slay Mylock and Boodmoon scouts who lurked near the ruined land.

Evil deeds once more were transpiring at the nearly forgotten ruins and only time would tell if would abate or escalate...

Early one clear evening, a human male, garbed in spells wielding a Morningstar, shrouded in flames dancing around the weapon arrives with an ancient air elemental in tow. He patrols the area, going along as he destroys each sign, and the camp with an earthquake. The shrine to Tiamat itself it blessed with the divine power of Lathander, before it is brutally shattered to dust. The donations beneath the altar are removed and peprhaps given to a more gracious funding.

The man dispels and unsummons his elemental, opening a portal and is not seen again that day...

*Several small fliers are strewn about Wyrmhold, some placed halfway beneath rocks, others on branches and places they might stick*

What remains of the great dragons of old is but memories and little more. However, small fractions of their power remain. Scales from these legendary dragons -still- exist and will, for the right price, be sold. Two scales, belonging to the green dragons, Forestgloom "The Huntress" of the Flight and Ta'lishima. One scale belonging to the white dragon Icingdeath of the Flight, and a very potent scale from a white dragon, whose name and story is obscure.

Send a letter with the words "Scale Trail" to the inn of Uhm, Wiltun, or Wharftown if interested.

In the dark of night an obscured looms near dragon junction cloaked in invisibility, pausing to catch a flier on the wind then starts to count its coins. Before reading their gear and portal wand-ing away.

With in the next day or two at the heart of the kobold caverns, the entrance to the Troglodyte lair and Springers point where the Lizard folk sometimes hunt trails of broken weapons, large sticks and odd stones lead from the main paths (easy enough for adventurers or patrolmen to find) to make-shift shrines baring a carving of a five pointed star with a point of red, blue, green, black and white color on its surface. Across it are strewn a handful of gold coins always counting ten.

Weighted by a simple stone is a message left with each alter written in common.

Dear reader should that you find this please ensure that it it finds he whom laid waste to the camp and property markers that had been lawfully set up in Wyrmhold. Let it be known that my/our Dark Lady has given us your name Lyonsis of Cordor, priest of Lathander and of your zeal to focus upon our rightful property with destructive intent.

You can not stop me/us no matter how hard you try.

I/We strike ten times in spite for each one you make. Five jaws snapping, two wings raking, two talons ripping and a sting tail snapping. Let it be known this is a warning, proof that we will we offer our/my lady tithe as we/I desire where I/we desire free of your god's Tyranny as well as your personal blind hate. Let it be known the price of your continuing actions in our ancestors home shall be answered with this same action committed on larger and more frequent scale.

You will find no bodies of the Scaled folk who hunt the lands where my/our alter stands, I/we knocked them out, dominated them and left them alive knowing that they suffer by our/my power and live by my/our mercy. This will be repeated until they bow before the us and the Dark Lady as our army, then they shall sack and devour the farm folks unprotected by stone city walls and the name Lyonsis is cursed with each childs dying breath as the cause of such baleful wickedness.

Stay out of our/my business or you will find buckets of innocent blood on your hands this is a no threat it is a oath that I take on the magic in my blood.

I apologize in advance if this option is left as our only viable means of retaliation against a man who has taken it upon himself to pursue me/us and deny my/our rights for no reason other then his petty hatred of that that is different them him. I/We would strike him in a personal direct manner but given the habit of return from death it was an unfortunate realism that this unwelcome level of potential violence be suggested to protect myself/ourselves and our/my interests. Otherwise I/we would have no intention of inclination to bring undo harm to they who are not our/my foes.

-Yours truly Ember rightful Baron/ness of Wyrmhold.

Upon hearing rumors and stories about the renewed activity regarding Wyrmhold, a man in a pale blue jacket and hood goes out on a journey to the old ruins. Poking around and finding evidence of a destroyed camp, he sniffs once or twice then shrugs and tacks a note to a ruined pillar. The note is insignificant beyond the fact it has a minor enchantment to protect it from the weather.

Welcome back little brat(s). Nice to see you haven't grown up in your time away wherever you went. Hope you wither and die soon!

Love,

~Amia~

He regards it for a moment, nods once, then cuts off the head of the Mylock who walked up behind him and walks away, cheerfully whistling a sailing song to himself.

Lyonsis of Cordor (or so he is apparently named) laughs rather amused, he leaves a short but direct note.

"Dear Akantha Cinis-Cineris-Aestuo, or Akantha Emberblaze as you might prefer,

I will advise you on magic out of the kindness of my heart, a Mass Charm Spell would not put the beasts under your will, but simply stops them from attacking you and your group and leaves them wandering around aimlessly as normal, a Dominate Monster spell, can not effect much more beyond one, maybe two if you had two magi. And you are clearly a fool if you think hurting them has ever made them submit to anyones will, otherwise they would have been taken over long, long ago. Rethink your strategy for revenge, perhaps one with a bit more intellectual effort. Then you may make shallow threats towards me, and innocent people of Amia.

Yours sincerely,
Lyonsis of Cordor!"

The Gulf of Lumorier: North Coast the most elaborate tithe to Tiamat as of yet is made under the dark of night and with a blazing fire. A sight easily seen from the swamps crawling in lizardfolk and from the tiny sea side town of Uhm alike. Before an alter set with a five pointed star of red, blue, green, black and white color is a melted pile of slagged treasures. A mythal, magical scrolls, gems, and a mound of gold, copper and silver coins.

Image

A very short letter is left under a rock.

To whom ever finds this please deliver it to one Lyonsis guard of Cordor.

I care not care that you seem to think we are some thin blooded human, but your gross stupidity and lack of wisdom has become apparent to me as is you not being worthy to be our nemesis, your narrow minded zeal and underestimation of your enemy mark you as an inferior specimen of your race.

Allow me to answer your lesson in magic, with one on mortal nature. The beings were left alive by us was to send their tribes a message about the rightful goddess of all scaleykind, one your puny mind obviously fails to grasp in even the most basic shape.

You are not worth the time or effort that would be required to correct your infantile short sighted mind. If we find you in our way, we will simply murder you because you are not worth any greater effort.
-Love Ember

Perhaps it was the increased patrols around the ruins, perhaps beings who instigated the rising of Tiamatian alters in easy to spot places had left the island, perhaps they were dead, perhaps they had found a cave somewhere to practice their dark plots and schemes far removed from the prying eyes of Amia.

There were many questions but what was clear was that for some reason the setting of alters, giving of tithe and other dark acts in obvious places around the region had ceased... for a time.

While Wyrmhold was no longer being used to pay homage to the Dark Lady Tiamat, the faithful of the dark queen easily found other places to rise dark alters, surrounded by candles of White, Black, Green, Blue and Red in a star formation. Across the alter strewn coins, gems and sometimes magical objects in sacrifice. The most recent and elaborate of witch rose under a grey sky above the caverns where Cordors kobold tribe called home.

The altar can be found sometime later with some of the gems missing, the rest scattered in the immediate area. Probably more insulting than that though, some bright light scribed in rather shakey and spidery handwriting.

I LIKE BAHAMUT BETTER!

There are some prints around the altar that appear to have belonged to a large cat.

Letters, no, more pamphlets written in exacting draconic calligraphy are left in Tarkuul, Zanshibon, near assorted cart routes, in dry wilderness caves and other places dropped casually by a figure wearing a heavy face obscuring helm with wing like adornments and wearing Tiamats five colors in the scale mail armor they wear.

In Draconic they read
Hypocrisy: the state of pretending to have virtues, moral or religious beliefs, principles, etc., that one does not actually have. Our goddesses divine duty, witch she exercised against The Nine Fold Dragon for not loving all his children equally, witch she exercised against the corrupted Pantheon of Unthar. Our lady the destroyer of Hypocrisy the Nemesis who exists so that the gods will not grow weak and complacent in the virtues they claim to follow.

Now in Mulhorand evil crawls the land and threatens a so called "good" people who invaded Unthar with war as soon as they were no longer bound by long held pacts of peace. They blame deamons and a forgotten god but it is clear this is the divine providence of the Nemesis! Engineered in her terrible glory that the people of Mulhorand suffer as all who indulge in hypocrisy must! The cults of our lady protect and keep Unthar in secret and silence, Tiamat is the last true god of Unthar, and our dark lady takes offense to the gods of Mulhorand breaking oaths they once swore to the pantheon of that land!

Praise the Dark Lady in her beauty and might.
Bow before the Undying Queen for by shear power she has denied gods-death thrice.
Respect the Nemesis of the Gods for her sacred duty.
Fear the Mother of Evil Dragons and the wrath of her spawn.
Love the Goddess of Greed and the treasures you hold dear.
Rejoice in the Queen of Chaos and the strife she sows among our foes.

Hail to Tiamat in all her names, all her guises, all her glory!

Know that we who are forced to hide in the shadows enduring the hypocrisy's of they who claim moral high ground will have our day. A day that will come for all of us who endure their petty disrespects, one-sided ethics and selfish virtues!

Stay true, stay strong, stay silent, know that we are many heads of the same dragon even if we do not yet act as one!
