Yup, prismatics and gems are out-of-proportion. How would the choice work - would a pop-up menu or something be possible? I assume it is not.

More likely, you select at shifter 1 whether or not you would like to shift into metallics or chromatics, and the choice is permanent.

Free rebuilds? No. If you were good aligned, the change would kick in automatically. If you're neutral, you'd get the choice when you log in and the variable would be permanently set. I'm nt sure where you get the idea that rebuilds would even come into it, let alone be free.

Oh, I assumes that the choice would specifically happen at the first shifter level - warranting a rebuild like what happened with the Elemental Shape etc. Okay, meh.
EDIT. You should be able to choose even if you are good or evil. Spying etc.

Does druid and shifter levels stack in calculating caster levels for spell like abilities yet? (of the forms ofc)

It does apply for some of them though. Any bugs need to be fixed by Terra, and it is the opinion fot he balance team that some of the bugs actually balance the class, so they won't be fixed.

Some of these changes don't appear to be working as intended for my PC. Drow form doesn't sport a shield, for instance. Have a few changes been implemented to remove the shield, or other listed changes here?

Stacked mutas/fliers is a metagame in itself and is one of the things that Korean pro players specifically asked to not be fixed because it balanced tyhe game.

Don't laugh at what we're doing when you're being a facetious troll and doing nothing to help yourself. Being willing to stand up to your bs on this forum makes you a troll? lawl. Don't worry, we both know that you'll find some reason to get me banned soon enough (those who enjoy powertripping as much as you do don't tend to abide by those who refuse to play along with it).... but until then I'm going to continue to not let you get away with it. difference between starcraft and amia: 1)starcraft is one of the most competitively played games in the world where even the slightest tweak can be potentially game breaking when you have people so practised and knowledgeable about the games balance. Amia is a PW for a game that was never designed with balance in mind modified by a bunch of amateur coders and toolset jockeys. 2)a lot of the reason things like muta stacking and putting a siege tank under your command centre were left in for so long were because they became part of the flavor of the game... so it was thought better to leave them in to keep the game feeling as starcrafty as possible and balance around it. I'm betting leaving the shifter bugs in aren't for flavor reasons as much as 'its easier to balance it this way than fix the bugs and balance it properly' 3)starcraft was playtested by millions of players and hundreds of pros and had a dedicated team of professional coders behind it. Amia has a 200 person playerbase, a handful of 'testers' and some hobby coders.

Okay, so haste on the Dire Tiger being bugged and static at 10 rounds, as opposed to lasting 24 rounds.
You're going to tell me that fixing that bug would properly balance the class?
Storm of Vengeance doesn't last the full duration it could.
You're going to tell me that fixing that bug would properly balance the class?
There's a few more.
My MSN is still waiting for you to come and talk to me instead of making half the posts you've made on this forum with an attitude and coming in like you own the place, instead of actually learning how the server functions.

and I'm not going to tell you how these classes would be balanced as I don't have access to their stats or anything like that I'd need before giving an informed opinion. The way you made the comment that the bugs were more.. features amused me.

Starcraft is, much like NWN, a game that features a lot of counter-tactics, or in NWN's case, builds. In the stacked fliers' case, they can be great for harassment, but are devastated by AOE units, namely Corsairs. Many similarities do exist between both games.

is the first post going to be edited to match today's versions of the shapes? that would be helpful. also perhaps more game mechanical stats of the forms too would be appreciated There was also one question about one of the forms but can't remember it right now. :S

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=UH0CJUX3You need a way to view .xlr files. Go nuts. This is as accurate as it gets. No, it will not be added to that page about shifters ecause the shifter section is long enough as it is, really. Do feel free to fill in the wiki, though.

Nope. I got access to the resources I need on request and once done someone with module/server access has to implement them to the module.

Could you pop a note on the sidebar to say when they get epic-ified? I was a touch nonplussed to see my Mino/Gargoyle/Harpy change not a whit when I got Shifter11 last night. Wasn't till I looked at the spreadsheet that I noticed the wyrms get the boost.
What is the upgrade progression, anyway? Wyrms at 11, obviously, then I'm lost.

The DCs are meant to be a bit lower since they're super easy to spam, though not so low as to make them totally useless. Since most Druids still have sky high wisdom, the ability DCs remain fairly high.

Yarpage. It's trivial, albiet a constant monetary drain, to max out WIS on a Shifter. Pearl of Desert casting of Owl's Wisdom for at least +2, Owl's Insight scroll bumps that to +9, so you only need a +3 WIS item to be done and dusted.

Does natural spell resistance that drow and svirfneblin get cross over into shifted forms? I'm not sure because your race changes and it's not a feat, it's a racial characteristic.

I think it should go into the shifted forms, only though highest spell resistance goes. (some forms have their own SR which -could- be greater, but it is very unlikely compared to the level when you get the forms (drow warrior, drider, etc.)) it is usually the same thing with light sensitivity, it is not a feat, but still applies everywhere. not 100% sure though.

I really like the spectre form but i find it really disturbing that the boots, belt, gloves, cloak, ring, amulet slots do not merge here. This makes the form not nescerarily bad but you need unique equipment just for this one form, which makes it unflexible to use.

The basilisk comes to mind. The manticore could do with a little more oomph if you ask me. It just feels to be lacking compared to other shapes of its level.
