This has probably been touched upon, but in summons, it says that the Winterwight requires 32+ levels in Palemaster....I shouldnt have to explain why this isnt possible...

The Palemaster gains a bonus +3 to CL when using her spell-like ability.

You can't be a 1 wizard / 29 palemaster.

Base caster class levels and PM levels stack for determining what you summon with the special PM abilities. For example, let's take the basic 20 wiz/10 PM (20 Wiz +10 PM +3 CL Bonus = 33 Caster Levels). You'd get the Winterwight. 19 Wiz/10 PM/1 rogue = 32 caster levels = Winterwight. 18 wiz/10 PM/2 rogue = 31 caster levels = No Winterwight.

Make a Wiz/PM summing to 29 levels, summon the Winterwight and examine it.

Find someone who can, and graciously ask them if they will tell you. We had this discussion awhile back and the result is that we're not going to post the stats. Period. But we can't stop you from filling in a wiki to fulfull whatever powergaming desires you may have to ignore roleplay and choose "The best" summon.

Also, this means if you have an ECL adjustment greater than +1, you cannot get Winterwight.

Not when you make that decision solely OOC. Say for instance someone sees that the summon IV for Neutral Arcane has more STR or AB than another on an Amiawiki page. Someone likely who was going to play a Good or an Evil cast would change their RP and story to match that alignment and get that summon. It's ad hoc, and if I can be frank, a feckin' disgusting thing to do. Once you've made that character, and you go around IC as "How can I summon a more powerful monster?", that's fine. You've made the character. And if they actively seek out more power from things you learn from other PC's and in the gameworld, and find that if they became more evil, they'd be able to summon demons and devils that are more apt for their kind of power and combat, that's completely fine. That's RPing and following your character's mindset. Looking at an amiawiki page and seeing which summon has more XYZ and then thinking of how you can fit your PC's RP into or worst [censored] yet around that OoC information? No. That's not RP. That's not legitimate. That's WoW, and I'd appreciate if people would keep it out of Amia.

I was sent that stats by a gracious player ^-^
And whats wrong with a necromancer wanting to reach the epic of summons? Isnt that as close to ultimate knowledge as he can get stat wise?
I know RPly he could, and will, achieve more.

Epic power is subjective. A winterwight against a Kelemvorite will definitely not last as long as an elemental versus said priest, if they would bother at all that is.

All the summons are more or less balanced at the same tier of power. They all have their strengths and weaknesses. I don't know why some people keep talking about the powergaming badge. There are no grossly overpowered summons since Chris balanced them all. ... Well except BBoD >_> But everyone already knows that <_<

Thats one of the reasons I know I'll be back. Just to ruin that bastard blade of diceyplaying.
Oh also the Balancing of the Summons was done by Uce.
The Balancing of the Companions was done by me.
Credit where credits due.

The Winterwight is so cool. Just get it and be glad that it exists.
