These passages are likely to be annotated and findable somewhere within the Salandran Temple under past patient records for one Reinard Levesque, assuming a certain Jack Galenson made them available as such. Tarkuul would have a more professionally written and less medically annotated version of the below. It appears to lightly detail some of his works and rituals along the way as he moved from fledgling necromancer to masterful artist.

A carefully bound package sealed with the official symbol of Tarkuul arrives at the Salandran Temple, addressed specifically to Metalien Sikth and Jack Galenson. Inside are instructions to give these to whoever necessary in order to understand Reinard Levesque's condition better, and in order to aid in any future cases that may come up. Several rituals are detailed within...
"
Process The First, To Be Added To Later As The Master Progresses"
-Ritual One requires the ground up dust from a leg bone, an arm bone, a skull, and a rib. These are then placed placed onto the respective parts of the body, and the words "Klarnes Achetus" spoken afterwards. The dust works itself into the skin, hardening it artificially, and beginning a process that brings the skin close to a bonelike material.
-Ritual Two requires the ground up dust from bones of the same variety, however, this time they must come from a Mohrg who has slain a person within the last week. Naturally the best way to attain this is to feed the Mohrg yourself, and then dismantle the undead. These are then placed onto the body identically as before, and the same words spoken.
-Ritual Three requires only one bone, but it must be in the best condition you can find it. One preserved skull of a Mystic Theurge, one capable of casting both Arcane and Divine spells. It is ground up, sprinkled along the body, and the Ritual proceeds as before.
-Ritual Four requires 6 bones. For the island of amia, the most suitable bones are the bones of the Barrow Wights in Brogendenstein. As always, they are ground into powder, spread along the body, and then the Words of Power spoke. By now, the skin is probably flaking off in parts, and entirely bonelike in appearance, probably able to deflect a longsword in full strike.
-Ritual Five Requires the bones of three bodies once inhabited by a Lich's spirit. They can all come from the same Lich, though research suggests that 3 different liches give better results. Proceed as usual. This is the final stage of the ritual that I could deduce, though logic points to one more above this. At this stage, my bare arm was able to deflect the axe of a Brogendenstein Orc, and their arrow simply bounced off my skin, leaving only a pinprick wound.
"
Process The Second, Whereupon The Master Gains The Vision Of Death"
-A single Ritual, which requires a Black faceted Gemstone worth no less than one thousand (1,000) Gold Pieces, to be faceted into the shape of an eye. IT also requires the Eye of a Ghoul, the Eye of a Zombie, The Eye of a Mummy a complete skull, and the Essence of a Wraith. The Master places one eye into each socket, the third eye into the empty nose-hole, and seals the Wraith Essence within the skull, and places it in the center of a pentagram cornered with 5 Runes of Power. (The runes are drawn on a small scale next to this). Speaking the words "Corana Michthanis, Sytana Moranis", the power from the skull will seep into the Stone, and imbue it with Sight Beyond Sight. Then, the Master ritualistically, with a dagger made of blackened steel, heated by a fire made from a burning corpse, plucks out his own eye, and severs the optic nerve. He then replaces it with the stone, which will cement itself within the eye socket and begin working as a normal eye, excepting the fact that the mundane dark will no longer hamper your vision.
"
Process The Third, In Which The Master Takes On the Vigorous Stamina of Death"
-A single Ritual. It requires the preserved wrappings of a mummy. The higher station in life the mummy attained, the better their wrappings are for this Ritual. The Master should lay the wrappings in a circle upon the ground, and then step within the circle. Upon the wrappings should be placed the shredded vellum of two scrolls containing the words of a Bull's Strength spell, and an Endurance spell. He should then speak the words "Printhus Sinthus, Malaturus", upon which the wrappings will rise up, encase the Master, and then dissolve after imparting their underworldly strength into the reciever. You will find that you are far harder to subdue with this in effect.
"
Process The Fourth, Whereupon The Master Forsakes A Limb"
-I am afraid my personal records on this ritual are slim to none, as my own arm was blown off in a preliminary experiment, and fueled with a negative energy bond of my own accord. I do not have any more details as to the complexity of this ritual, only that typically, the Master amputates his own arm, typically their non-dominant arm (hence the proliferation of Masters with boned left arms), and grafts the limb of an animated undead within its place, typically a skeleton, for cleanliness reasons, though Mohrgs, Zombies, Wights, nearly anything may be chosen. This arm, if it is anything like my own, exhibits the ability to manipulate negative energy on a grand scale, especially in the ability to halt movement, and in the higher spectrums, cause instant death.
"
Process The Fifth, The Master Gains The Resistance Of The Incorporeal"
-Again, a single Ritual that requires the brewing of a potion to be ingested. Notable ingredients include the Essence of a Wraith and a Spectre, and a crushed emerald, along with a toadstool from the underdark. Species does not matter, it must simply have proliferated in the Underdark. The potion is mixed with a Mortar and Pestle, and then distilled through an Alembic and Retort in order to help purify it, and then allowed to simmer over a Calcinator, in order to burn away the final impurities. Once you have finished the brewing process, allow it to sit under the light of the moon, and then ingest at sunrise. The Master should feel a pleasant tingling sensation for about ten minutes, and when it passes, they will find themselves incapable of being held, paralyzed, or otherwise incapacitated in that manner.
"
Process The Sixth, The Final Process, In Which The Master Becomes Nearly One With Death"
-An incredibly lengthy Ritual. First, it requires the same ceremonial dagger that the Master plucked out his own eye with. Second, it requires the ash of a skull of a Demilich, ground to dust, and then burned in a Calcinator for 3 days and 3 nights. Third, it requires a string of runes from wherever you can get them; I acquired them from my personal library. (The runes follow. All intensely powerful necromantic runes of power.) Fourth, a passage from a book. I have only found this passage thus far within Kraven's Tome, from his Manor in Brogendenstein. It may exist elsewhere, I do not know. To begin the ritual, you must mark out this design with your dagger, into the ground (Much of the bottom of this page is covered in a huge design obviously made to cover an entirer floor, at least fifteen by fifteen feet square, full of glyphs, runes, and crisscrossed lines.), and mark the four corners with a Light spell. Sprinkle the Demi-Lich Ash along the design in the noted areas. Then, center yourself within the design at the specified point, and cut a single gash in your remaining living arm with the very same dagger. As the blood flows into the creases, begin reading the passage from Kraven's Tome. You will notice the blood filling the crevices as it should not rightfully be able to, and smoke will begin to trace marks in the air and fill the room with a haze.. As to what happens after this, I am not sure, as I passed out and awoke the next morning to find my gash healed, and my body filled with a renewed vigor and strength that I have not felt in years. Strikes that would surely have slain me in the past became mere wounds.
The records wrap up with a personal note from reinard thanking the Salandrans for their help so far, and hoping their correspondence can continue. The bottom contains his personal seal as a Councilman of Tarkuul, and is signed in flourished wizardly handwriting, "Reinard Levesque".
