(I tried to bring this question up in the requests thread, sorry to Draco for doing that in his topic, but it felt relevant. But its probably better off here.)
There's been a few questions raised lately about Nobility. I would also like to mention an unfortunate circumstance of my own regarding this topic.
Me and my brother have been players on Amia since just after the split from Arelith. Yep we're veterans

Greta Solveig and my bros character Puregold Gudmansdottir are two of our oldest characters. Greta and Puregold are even characters from me and my brother's old D&D roleplaying days, we have great affection for them and their backstory and adventures go way back even before Amia.
The issue I'm afraid of, is that from the very beginning, Puregold was always a dwarf of notoriety from where she came from in Icewind Dale. She is the first Scion of her wealthy family's Trading Company. She often refers to herself as "Madam Puregold".
I would say it was over 4 or 5 years ago when I read about the issues with creating noble characters, and that any request for a title in the name should be made before creation.
After all these years we have neglected to even bother requesting to have a title for Puregolds name, because of the rules we had read and learnt long after making the character. (We have respected the rules and never had any hope that such a request would be granted.) But in Dracos request thread it was stated by Tormak that we shouldn't claim nobility without a request, I sure hope that this won't be a problem with Puregold. She's been on the server for many many years now.
Is Puregold safe for being a Noble, even if she doesn't have her title in the name?
