Hey, looking for some RPers interested in a different concept!

There are four major primordial elemental deities present in the Amian realms. These four being Grumbar, Akadi, Istishia, and Kossuth, representing Earth, Air, Water, and Fire, respectively. The idea behind the "elemental pantheon" is a loosely associated group of plane-touched clerics that represent the deity that is in most accordance with their blood.

There are three currently active in game that ive seen:

Temudjin, an Air-genasi cleric of Akadi. Humorous, wild, and free like his element....

...Solrend Inignus, my own character, who is a Fire-genasi Cleric of Kossuth. Likewise he is humorous, passionate, and very fond of... Smiting and burning. Not to mention in-tuned to horrid puns...

...and *place holder here for imformation*

Twackusdootimus-whatever and I are essentially looking for a character, a good or neutral aligned earth-genasi, who is a cleric of Grumbar (Domains fitting with grumbars RP). The idea is that these clerics, while devout and loyal to their deities, know how to have a good time, and can be rather silly given the situation. Any who want to fill this position, be aware squabbling within the pantheon is possible; not all primordials are fond of each other!

Along those lines, we are also looking for followers of the primordials deities to gather for some interesting RP. Also a time to explore genasi lore more deeply and spread knowledge about the four elemental deities. The possibilites are truly endless, or as far as DM's may let us take them!

Note: The characters above are just examples. Its not as if there is a limit to clerics of the deities.

Quote:
Sol: Hey, what do ye know, its the Air-head!
Temudjin: Well Ill be, hows it going Hotpants?
Sol: Cant complain, im feelin' rather hot today, an' I think the women 'ave noticed.
Temudjin: Well, dont come over here with your flame. Im feeling a bit breezey and I dont want any spontaneous combustion!

A grumbanite would be an interesting RP honestly, although I do think Istishia would need to be included, have the Elemental Gang and then have your own posse for each element :D. I wouldn't mind making a genasi xD

I can name for you my 2 Halfling PCs:

Jumei Ratzin: Shaman of Grumbar.

Nina Thorrow: Kossuthian Eldritch Knight.

Jumei is my most recent, but Nina has been active for quite a while.

Also, do more in depth research on those primordials. They don't... "hang out" together often if ever if they can help it.

Except a cleric of Kossuth would hate a Cleric of Istishia as Kossuth and Istishia are mortal enemies.

Same is true with Grumbar and Akadi

In fact all 4 elemental lords try to dominate each other as the supreme element, and care nothing about balance (one reason why they tend to not have druids)

Just so you know: "Grumbar's foe is usually Akadi, and he has dependable allies in Kurtulmak and Dumathoin." - some Wiki thing.

I have back in the day played an earth genasi of Grumbar myself and did in fact entertain a love/hate relationship towards a flimsy-natured, fickle and recklessly independent air genasi (stupid wench!!), which of course lead to utter tragedy, so I am not really one to talk: But especially religious genasi of Grumbar and Akadi getting down and "silly" sounds a bit like zealous sun elves getting along with a ragtag crew of drow like a house on fire, and not because they've seit their houses on fire.

Then again, genasi don't live in fixed communities and so don't have homogenous cultures, but just know that you might be tethering on "lore correctness" here, if that matters you.

That said: <3 Genasi indeed!

All's cool. And from what Ive read, there a begrudging acceptance between the "wise" clergy of the few primordials. And if this whole thing were getting "down and silly" it would have no worth. Its about exploring Genasi and primordial lore, and conflict is certainly part of that.

Uh... is it just me or is this dead wrong, Kossuthian druids tending to be one of the most powerful forces in Faerun?

Overall, call it what you may, streching lore perhaps, but its still a good concept in my opinion. Also provides for the apparent love of genasi Ive been seeing around.
