If you take focues in conjuration. would that raise the dc of he black blades planar rift? the same thing with a evocation focus fo bigby? will it raise the dc?

The BBoD's planar rift's DC is determined by the caster level of it's summoner. Conjuration will do nothing for the DC, I do not think.
Just, it's weaker with it's DC at 20 than it would be at 30.

Actually I dissagree, unless there is something different on amia the DC check will go up for taking the spell focus line.

Black Blade's DC is like 10 + CL so.. dosnt matter what focus you have.
Bigby's also hard numbers, some have will saves and stuff, the save for that effect is likly based off Focus.

well as i understand no spell descriptions say if the focus affects them. I didnt get a straight answer out of any of that lol

Okay sence there are apperently a dozen ppl here that dont know what their talking about tring to confuse you, let me direct you to the NwNWiki, a far better source then this thread. http://nwn.wikia.com/wiki/Bigby%27s_clenched_fistThat should be the only Bigby spell that gets anything from Spell Focus. All of the other Bigby spells use a setup that depends on your lvl, not your spell focus. Same with BBOD.

That spell needs to be fixed, it needs it badly, its stupidly broken, and Amia is the only PW that I play on that still has a near immortal summon.
