I confused. How do I acquire spells for my Ranger? Used to be you just clicked on the spell you wanted. Now it says I need a DC or I have to make a spell. How do I get a DC, how do I make a spell? I am fairly new to this game and don't play too often. Is there a simple solution I missed?

Rangers spells are based off their Wisdom, so you will need at LEAST 14 wisdom to cast your 4th circle spells. You dont need any DCs to use ranger spells, it works just like bard sorc cleric or whatever spells, point and click. Im not sure what lvl a Ranger gets his first spell, though.

Ahh there you can see the info i just gave and more, Rangers cant get their first spell tell lvl 4, and only if you have enough Wisdom to get a bonus spell. You should see your first lvl 1 spell at lvl 6!

Yep, Xenos has it. Make sure you aren't selecting spells that you probably don't recognize from the original game, or ones that are marked like "custom spell (self only)". Those are for custom scrpted spells that players do indeed by with Dream Coins ("DCs"). Otherwise, spellcasting works just like it does in normal Neverwinter Nights. Make sure you've got at least 10 + 1 base wisdom per spell level (so 13 for a level 3, 14 for a level 4, etc) for your ranger, and make sure you're above level 4. hit B to open your spellbook, and memorize the spells you want by clicking the spell icons. The next time you rest, the icons will light up and you can cast them.

If you don't know which spells are which, I suggest clicking the question-mark (the examine button for them when levelling), because that will tell you which ones are normal spells, and which ones are special.
