With the new umph of the server, is possible. Guess its time to come back and test it the last 30 minutes to see if its like playing on a 14.4kbps modem again.

I remember the last time we did this. Let us hope that the server improvements outweigh the lag increase.

Give it a try!
But the server as is, already lags me a bit when I am in places like Cordor, Wiltun and Underport. >_<

No increases in lag on my side. (Besides some hiccups pre-reset as always) I think the weekend will be critical as player rates go up then.

You should explore the rest of B. There is a lot of server to see ad a lot of it is very beautifully designed. The designers and Disco went all out, especially in Ruathym.

And the 75 limit will only help me, more will go to A dropping my B lag.. With the fall of ultrinnan, the move of HoA, and the tower of mystra all on B, I hardly have any reason to go to the island of Amia anymore.

I haven't noticed any significant amounts of lag that can be slapped onto the server increase. I get the normal lag in high-traffic areas, but nothing more than anything else I ever got before.

More lag deep in the heart of Texas. Not unplayable lag, but I like it less than before. Granted, I'm geographically far anyway. It's not unplayable, but I have noticed it.

I've noticed a bit of increase in lag on A, when the server was at 70+/75. Not unplayable, but as Merrien said, noticeable.

I do have a good connection, and even so . . . I'm noticing it. I'd personally kinda like it pulled back to 70, but I know I'm just one voice on this subject.

Lags like shit for me, where it was not lagging before with 65/65.
Once it hits 69+ I log out, its not worth my time in that kind of lag to bother, given all I'm doing is testing.

Seems pretty good to me. There were a ton of people yesterday in Amia Forest when a battle broke out. I only lag spiked for two seconds and only once (but I believe that was on my end anyway). I haven't noticed anything bad thus far.

I am not sure if my lag remains the same or if it increased a bit. Hard to judge, since I am not playing everyday as I once did.
It has been lagging for me, but I think it is normal?
The only scary lag I had was a day that there were 10 Banites (really, I counted) at the forest with a few other PCs (I did not count, might have been 10 others), no PvP going on, only RP. Some PCs (not all) had buffs up and my computer ~froze~ for some seconds and I thought I was going to crash. It took a while to load the exact area, in the middle of the forest, where all those PCs were.
It was close to the sign with the Roadwarden, by a crossroad. Usually, I already lag badly when anywhere close to a Roadwarden. That day was bad and it might have been because of that, plus the number of characters. Not sure yet.
The server was not full, but I do not remember either how many players were on.

If we are gonna say that might as well shove in I'm barely around at all so it had little effect. Though the oceania players are on at all kinds of times, depending on what time suits them. Sometimes I catch the peek hours, sometimes I don't. Errr, when I have the free time. (Which I have very little of late.)

No, I just mean that if you play when there's only 50 people before and 50 people now, then it shouldn't affect your lag. In my guessing.

The main route from from Aussieland and NZ goes from Asia to USA and then over the Atlantic to the EU. Not really optimal, and it can only increase the ping lag compared to the original setup. I guess 65+ players is just that little extra that pushes you over the edge.
Interesting question is if you get that lag on B when A is at 65+.

Well I was on today and the server was quite full, about 30 on B and 50 on A. I went on B and it lagged me like hell, this is on peek times in the middle of the day, on a weekday using broadband. Which means quite a fast speed, the fastest I get at any time in the day. Still using the same connection, so seems like the total amount of players on the entire server is what causes lag, which means it's been over 65+ for a while in some cases and had less lag.
We may have been able to handle 75 had the server stayed back in America, but it didn't, so its probably safer to go back to 65

Yes, but if A had been full and B had been 30 I wouldn't have been able to log on likely. The event I came on for just happened to be one I stood in one spot for most of the time. Had I been fighting or moving I would have had to give it a miss.

The NWN server has been made to host up to 64 players, so I am not surprised that it gives us merde at 75.
