Johanna Hardingdale, Harlequin of Brandobaris, can be seen more often around Bendir Dale. For what purpose, it is anyone's guess.

Edit: Latest bad news! Computer's pretty much shot, looking for repairs, and I have a vacation next week with the family. I'm going through withdrawal here... it's painfu :shock:

Dart circles the skies above Bendir Dale as the portal within the hin settlement is activated. Stepping out from the portal would be a familiar hin female garbed in cloth of the militia colors. She appears to be exhausted but otherwise unharmed, a faint smile on her lips as she returns to the Swift house.

Brena's back.

Jules seems to have taken on traveling a bit again, which is noticed very easily by the lack of her loud voice and big hat.

[OOC] Not playing Amia indefinatly for the time being. Taking a break for awhile but feel free to send me a PM if you want to ask me anything, I'll be checking my PM's periodically.

Ladies and gentlement, my computer is garbage. I can't continue to play on Amia while completely incapable of participating in events containing three or more people due to lag. I can't continue to play this game, and my characters correctly when I can't appropriately respond to hostile and non-hostile situations because of the massive delay my craptastic machine causes.

So.

Until further notice, my characters are all incapacitated. Dead, missing, gone, whatever you want them to be, doesn't matter to me.

Blade, who has been around the Dale and the forest more often, suddenly vanishes for several days. The rent on her inn room is still paid, but she is simply unseen for a few days.

// IC troubles that might be noticed, but I'll be back on her starting tomorrow again.

*Eldon can be seen in the dale again having returned from cromyr once more this time without his cousin Constance, He is often seen behind the town hall drilling with the militia or simply sitting there.*

Captain Swift of the Bendir Dale militia, in one of her times outside of her office to catch fresh air, vanishes with no trace.

The last of her belongings had been packed, a sigh escaping the hin lass as she looked over the common room of the Swift Clan.

"Well... I made a promise, and I'm sticking to it."

She said these with a very faint chuckle as she looked to a concerned looking pseudodragon at her side. Kina, her closest friend, had not returned to Bendir Dale after going out on a walk...no word from her being left behind nor any signs of a struggle being seen where she normally travels. Within a few hours of returning from a series of island-wide searches, Brena had brought in her badge and informed Nof to consider her resigned if she had not returned in a week's time. Whoever inquired about her decision to leave would be responded with "I go where I'm needed." or "I'm looking for a friend.",the hin appearing to be as cheerful as she always has been although her eyes would show her uneasiness. She knew that Okra would be able to hold the militia together. If not, the Dale would find a way to adjust.

Looking upon the road ahead, she took one last look at Bendir Dale behind her and smiled sadly.

"Who knows... maybe I'll be able to return someday. Hopefully not alone."

And with that, she began to walk. The search had begun.

//Right then, this'll either turn out becommong a short break, a long vacation, or a permanant leave (it's hard to say really)... But, I gotta go with what my character would do in a given situation. :wink:

Edit: Soo...yeah, I'm not doing this out of grief or anything. It's just that Brena's decided to take a journey of sorts somewhere outside the Amia setting. She could return, she could not. It depends on what happens on this journey

Bella spots it immediatly and she stands there gaping at it for a few minutes before a wide grin splits her face and she runs of giggling.

A lone caravan has parked itself just outside the Dale and from it 3 hin rushed to the forest whilst a 4th walked up to the Dale and got himself aquainted there. He goes by the Bido Bill and may have the physical streangth and appearence of a Strongheart but he has the mind of a Lightfoot.

*a note is left with Cindle and one is placed on the rail of the Hin Inn Garden*

A newcomer enters past the gates with a subtle tip of his feathered hat to the militia. He non-shalontly walks about the dwelling assessing it. Bearing a full face mask, with only holes for eyes he would remove it only if pressured by the guard and a minor quarell with some profoundly strange words. On removal of the full face mask he would still be wearing a cloth face mask covering his nose and mouth and the upper of his face would show many scars and hard grey eyes. He would laugh manically wandering about the dwelling before finding his way into the Town Hall, to move in..

Bido and 3 other male hin can be seen packing their caravan and leaving.

A fair looking hin with dark hair and rag tag leathers hap hazardly sewn together arrives at the town and seeks refuge for the night.

A familar face can be seen around bendir. Eldon hvaing returned once more to bendir can be seen in the square in his old spot by the mill or out and about.

*A new hin can be seen around the dale, none would have hear his name much less him speak but he can be seen going about his busness silently with the aer of one who doesn't want to speak with anyone.*

//may not be around much this weekend. Some RL issues have come up. If I am needed, I will be checking the forums.

A young blue haired woman, exceptionally small in frame, identifying herself to some as Kristinne, to others as simply Dawn, has been visiting the Dale with increasing frequency. She can often be found by the gate, offering those who pass through sea shells as free gifts. Occasionally, to the intrigued listener, she can be seen speaking of the Water Primordial, Istishia. A silver charm around her neck depicts the tidalwave encircled, repeated on a black wristband.

Cheerful, generally social, and talkative, this young girl always seems to speak with a certain eagerness in her tone, thought it is difficult to place. Besides this relatively minor awkward trait, most would find her natural at holding conversation.

Hello there Hinfolk! Just thought I would drop by & say hi. Am I back? Yes & no. Last week I asked to have my self-imposed ban removed & Nehky removed it(many thanks Nehky). But..... (there is always a 'but' isn't there?) I can't play Amia on this laptop as it is a piece of poo. Soooo in a few months, after I build me a new gamebox, perhaps June or July I can play again.

// This probably isn't going to affect my playing just yet, but as our move-in date on our apartment comes up (April 15!), I'm going to get more busy with packing, moving, and looking for a job in the new area. Of course, that will probably mostly affect my daylight playing hours (where few people are around anyway), but just wanted to warn y'all.

**any who'd bother to take notic would realize that Nick is nowhere to be found or seen of late, and any that would bother to pry would find he is living nowhere around the Dale since the recent trial involving Nick. If asked none of the usual residents or merchants would say they have seen him neither**

Roscoe Burrows, after having been gone for a long while, can now-and-then be seen around Bendir Dale again. It is highly likely for him to have his mastiff, Titan, close to his heels as he grumbles this and that about " 'em damned worm elfs.".

Ruby seems to limit her time in the square a bit as she focuses more on making sure all of the gardens, fields, and statues she oversees are doing well, but she's still easily found and as friendly (if nervous) as ever.

A hin shrouded in leaf green clothes has been in and out of town recently, at least one of the militia know him to be Jake the lucky, or so some have said. He can almost always be distinguished by his preferance for an old patchy cloak, if he's not in some other form or hiding in the trees playing pranks on the tall folk.

A vivacious purple-, blue-, and gold-bedecked gnome has moved to the Dale. And, while she was knocked unconscious within the first minute of being a Dale resident, she still seems lively and excited to be here. One of the first things she does is start asking around after any publications, going through any records of the Bendir Dale Bugle that she can find and ask if it's still running or if she can get in contact with anyone from it.

A ranger of Oakmist Vale can be seen somewhat regularly on the hill outside the gates, he stands watch for a time then moves off.
The Grove's presence can be seen throughout the island now, as members patrol in ever widening circles.
