I do, still do.

The interesting thing is, that mods can see what browser people use. 95% of people use FireFox, the rest use Opera, during the times I've paid any attention to this function of course. I guess it's possible to collect statistics to sate curiosity.

IE here! Simply because I haven't downloaded Mozilla yet. The latest IE is actually pretty stable.

IE has always tried to design their browser however the hell they like which almost always goes against the W3C. Back in the day, when IE was the leading browser, they got their way; most websites designed themselves for IE instead of the W3C standard. Now that they aren't the leading browser, it boggles my mind that they continue to be babies about building their browser to W3C standard. God I hate IE... horrible browser...

Didn't the EU commission actually sort of censor IE? And WMP.

They barred Microsoft from including IE in Windows 7 because they believe it harms competition between browsers, innovation and customer choice. Tis' why EU countries get something called "Windows 7E" instead of the normal "Windows 7."

Now is there a way to get that blinding yellow that highlights words in 'Search' replaced by something else, like the bolding we had in phpBB2? I find the intense contrast of yellow on black, as well as the white on black of the login and posting screens, rather hard to take visually. But perhaps it's just me. I also find the smilies are a bit too small to discern clearly.

And I like the font colour rainbow, though a lot of them are near duplicates (esp. every 5th line) - is it just my monitor?

I too like the rainbow display when posting! Woo!

I know what you mean though, I see some that look very similar to one another, though I'm not too fussed since there are so many options and I never could get color to work with the old system, lol

That said, do you suppose we could get the server information on the top, like the old forum did when we put 'nopanel' in our msn field? I must say I didnt even notice at first that it wasnt at the top, but now I really miss it.

Need to see how it can be done on the public side, so that it doesn't fuck up many admin functions which depend on post counts.

There are some that do, I found out. Well, to reliably use them you need post counts. Such as purging users.

Is there any way to just hide it from showing? Such as changing the template of the profile pages to not show it, and have the memberlist just blank out that column?

I miss the server/forum time showing.

When people make posts saying that something is happening within X hours from the post, I have no time to use as a reference to know if it happened, is happening or is yet to happen.

Unless if the time is showing in some obscure place in the forums.

top right of the box is the time it was posted.

Top right of each post. For example, yours says "Posted: 2010/04/11 10:18" to me.

If yours doesn't say time, do the following:

Go to "User Control Panel" (top right)
Click "Board Preferences"
Scroll down to "My date format:"
In the box, add " H:i" (without the quotation marks, but with the space) to the end.

What time does the forum use? GMT? CST? EST?

EDIT: Nevermind. It probably shows at the Timezone helper.

Btw, check your cell phone if it has a feature where you can add a lot of international clocks. Probably some desktop gadgets do the same. But it makes arranging dates so much easier!

Windows 7 and Vista allow two clocks in addition to the main one.

No you're not .... I too find it most irritating. If I wanted to save, I'd copy it to Wordpad. That said, I think the 'cancel' button is rather superfluous too, since you can hit back or close the tab.

Yep! I have a clock as a gadget that it is already set to the server's time, since it is the same timezone as my sister that lives in the Netherlands (sp?). She lives on (at? >_>) Harlem! Just a random note. xD

It seems to me that the e-mails for topic updates only work sporadically. They seem to always come at once, on the odd occasion that they do come at all.

Issue with logging in. I think it's sending out new cookies after the registeration thing was added, as I couldn't log in. It would log me in, then log me out immediatly. Until I deleted my browsing data it wouldn't fix. Others may be having this issue also.

Also Amia's domain name seems to require the www. to access on Internet Explorer. In the past this has never been the case. If you simply type in "Amiaworld.net" it doesn't load. It sounds like one of the domain name's have expired possibly.

That happened to me a couple of times after clicking the browser to go back to the previous page, rather than click a link. It simply logged me out, closing the session, forcing me to log back in.

Internet Explorer has been arsing about this before. I remember having to clean out Nekhy's just to be able to look at the forum at her place, and that was over a year ago.

Another thing i have with the new forums is they gave the smilies a diet and squeezed em to be a bit thinner...

and they look like this now (in the forums they are taller but just as thin) :

Hmm... they seem to be scaled, yes. Will have a look.

Result: It would need new smilies. I did fix the weird look in the posting screen, though.

Well at least they look same now when you make a post as when you read forums.

I guess if you waant to stop them from looking like eggs they have to be 15*17 base size and you cannot just change a setting to have bigger smilies some place in the forum settings?

Apparently not, because the ones in the post already had the proper size and changing the forum settings fixed the ones in the post screen.
