As you might see, I am shamelessly ripping off Kjettas Alternative beginnings concept because its something I have wanted to do for a long time. What I am looking for is new characters of various backgrounds that travel to Endir's Point to enlist with the militia as Rangers under Valygar. This I wish to do to bring more life to that region, develope Endir's Point as a settlement, and offer character background to those who wish to play Rangers without being a tree-hugger, or players that like a good military background for their characters. I am no DM so I have no cool toys to play with, nor can I hand out DC's, but I am confident that I can make it quite fun for those who wish to involve themselves.

Aside from the requirements listed below, you are free to come up with any backstory for your character; from being a cordorian commoner in search for adventure, to an exiled noble seeking redemption, or perhaps a criminal on the run who wish to hide in that far away place. Any aligment works.

Requirements:
- Must have Ranger as primary class
- Maximum level 3 at start up, preferably level 2
- Must be a non-monstrous humanoid race, ie: no goblins, kobolds,
tieflings etc. Any standard nwn race is allowed.
- Perma Death is a possibility, though rather unlikely.

I hope a few people will be interested in this. Due to my somewhat restricted play time, progression will be slow, and there will be much IC 'class room teaching', and less combat focus than one might expect. Those interested can either reply here or send me a PM.

Suggestion: Cull from existing PCs instead of creating a fad faction of yet more alts of alts of alts.

If people want to use existing PC's, thats all fine and dandy. They must however be deleveled and possibly rebuilt to level 2-3 as rangers.

Drat... I have a Kobold Ranger. Otherwise my elf ranger is basicly retired and not worth deleveling. I've had an itch to get a ranger PC but I can't really keep one RPly interesting to play. I love the class concept at least.

To sum it short: You will learn alot about the class that you didn't know you needed to learn, lore wise, and with heavy focus on developing skills that is more or less usefull. But first and foremost, its about getting under the skin of your character as a Ranger, and learn the inns and outs as I know them. When you are done, my intention is that you will have a charater with a solid background, developed personality and deep understanding of the class you play, both mechanicly and lore-wise.
