Bitterness, you see, plays an important role in the dynamic of Amian ex-DMs. It softens us, makes us endurable to the 'real' authorities.
If we were not to label ourselves as 'bitter', we ex-DMs could become an annoying threat to the hiearchy of 'truth'sayers that contstantly constructs and deconstructs the ideological fabric of Amia, or discourse of Amia, if you will.
Our time on the team has made us knowledgeable about certain things, we know certain awful truths, but we are liberated from the obligations that getting to know these truths come with. This combination is the dangerous fire that our 'bitterness' extuinguishes. We have so little left to lose, we are fearlessly independant (there are no Bitter ex-DM Team), and we are under no written or unwritten obligation to present a united front to anyone nor to hide any of these awful truths that we know from our time behind the courtain.
However, because we take on the shape of bitter to the bone, apathic and jaded versions of our former enlightended selves, our version of the truth you can now safely discard as the mad ramblings of some angsty, rose-tinted glasses-wielding bitter ex-DM who's out of touch with the real 'reality' of Amia or pushing some bitter aganda? Who knows what drives a bitter ex-DM?
Perhaps we carry some dissapointment about seeing Amia managing so well without us, like the disdain towards the success of some ex-girlfriend, perhaps we are bored and simply want to see Rome in flames? Yes, perhaps we are the purest incarnation of the forces of destruction, of Dionysos, to the constructive forces of the Team of Apollos? No, it is best not to listen to us. We are so bitter.
Bitterness is the bullet that kills us men that know too much. And I am happy to take that last bullet for the Team.
OR: We are just joking around and carrying on an internal form of humor that we miss from the outside of the DM forums.
