How exactly do I look ICly? People don't exactly admit that their his followers, plus I'm new here so I don't know anyone or the location of the shrine/statue/hideout. I'm mostly in a hurry because I'd like to be a BG on my next level and even barring that my PC has no deity at present and he's 2 levels away from 10.
I'm not asking for someone to just come and recruit me, I want to set something up where we could meet IC and RP everything since my PC at present doesn't have much of a care for gods. I'm just unsure of how long it will be before I run into someone otherwise.

Its perfectly legit for him to ask OOCly to set something up ICly. Besides, time zone problems might be an issue, in which case he'd figure that out.
And if you're new, sorry I havent welcomed you yet! Get in there, and get some good roleplayins!
Hope you find what you're looking for.

Welcome to the server! Cyric is deceitful and well lets face it, a down right hated god by many of the common folk, hence finding other people of that faith can paticular bothersome.
What in essence I can advice you about is to try seek out places you'd expect the cyricist types to hang around and sooner and later you'll run into others becaue they're there, just very good at staying out of sight.
A cyricist openly declaring his faith often gets a whole gang of people after his throat so most of the time, the subtle approach serves you best.

Thanks for all the welcomes, I thought of checking places where they might be, but the problem is i don't know many places aside from the main starting city and some of the surroundings.
Also at present I'm being tutored by followers of bane so.. yeah.

Hmm, some people might criticise me for saying this, but what the hell, I feel like I'm doing you a favor by saving you time.
It sounds like you want a group of players to share your Cyric RP with, and hopefully anyone with a cyricist character here will send you an IC or OOC PM organising some RP with you, but...
The Amian cyricists are largely dead or inactive. The faction has been trying to get off the ground for a long time but most of the players (including me, my main was once a cyricist) have either given up, switched over to Bane or just made other characters.
So, I mean, best of luck finding the very few, highly elusive/secretive cyricists that may or may not be around, but I'm just warning you now that from what I know there's not much there to find.
That said, playing a cyricist is a lot of fun in its own right, and there's lots of ways you can go with one without joining a larger group. Just sounded like you wanted to find other cyricists on the server and in my HUMBLE opinion its not worth trying IG.
P.S. Welcome to Amia

I personally have a Cyricist (not in any sort of faction) who's sort of a lone wolf type. That sort of RP can be very rewarding in its own right.
That said, Cyricists, by nature (AFAIK), are very disorganized and -split-. If you want more information as far as why that is, I'd suggest checking out the lore thread.

I was afraid of that, heard that mentioned OOC several times but thought I'd try posting here since a DM suggested it.
Well playing in a group would be fun, but my main reason is that I need my PC to get some exposure to the gods and learn about Cyric IC and then change his deity to Cyric (presently he doesn't have one) before I make him into a Blackguard. It's going to be a pain if none are left.

Just my 2 cents, you dont need a god to be a blackguard, the pact can just as easily be given to you by a demon, which if becoming a blackguard is an IC as well as OOC goal you can go to some devil summoner (again probably look in Tarkuul) and ask him to help with that. A willing DM could even help with that probably and he wouldn't have to both be converted to Cyric and choose a god.
Also you don't need to choose a god by level 10, that rule just states that if you set your god you can't change it after level 10, but if its blank you can be level 30 and easily get a new god.

Hmm, did not know that, but I managed to get into contact with one so thanks for all the help.
Also while it may be true he does not need a deity to be a BG, that's the way I had it planned out so I would rather he have some IC motivation to become one and be violent in some cases.
