So I just took dev crit.. aannd.. well, it doesn't work. Instead of the description I see this:

"The feat has been changed, see your journal for details".

But there are no details, am I missing something?

...Must have been what Terra was working on. I imagine you'll hear about it soon. Someone must have got a little over eager however and implemented before announcing.

It's being changed in the very near future, and in the interests of saving .HAK 'versions' and redownloading - changing the feat straight off for now until wefinish our changes. It's a temporary issue that only affects those taking the feat between the HAK's being implemented, and the final change.

You just got my hopes up, Daniel.

Out of interest, what does happen to those who take the feat now? Do they just 'miss out' until implementation? If so, how long will it take?

Well there you go. It was over eagerness to announce before annoucing the annoucement.

Well.... that's not what it is supposed to happen. You should be able to pick the usual DevCrit. :(

Maybe it's just a misplaced description, though. Does DevCrit work?

This is the great battle between Dev Disco and Dev Crit. We shall see later who wins.

Dev Crit doesn't trigger anything for me. The feat is on the list, yet it does nothing.

Although', When I took the lvl I had two options to choose from,

T'was like that:

Devastating Critical(Longsword)
Devastating Critical(Longsword)

Perhaps I picked the wrong one?

Is Disco a fort-built sorc?

Otherwise he's doomed

Good, that saves me building a test char. Your report is what I expected. Will fix it. You'll need to retake the last level after the fix.

Daniel, ask a DM in-game to help you redo that level.

I am the Lord Ao type anyway. Hard to crit someone that isn't around.

Meh... Dev Crit should win. It's the only proper weapon against HiPS spammers. Even though it doesn't always work either.
