I'm excited to see what's in the new hak too, especially since I couldn't "test" things out, because I didn't know how to >.>
Disco's worked so hard on this, it amazes me every day when I remember. *thumbs up*

Just put in your /modules/ folder and start new NWN game. Select this module (amia_hak) and you get the same stuff you had in the test mod I used as a server.

Those creatures look... very interesting, in lack of a better term. But. Is the wizard's hat supposed to be in the cloak department?

Did... did I just see a goblin riding a spider?
And a dracolich wrymling?
This actually has me more excited than the shifter update!

It's not a DnD creature. It was too cool and too small not to add, though. The UD menagerie isn't really extensive so I was thinking of making up some race with that model that lives in the deeper parts.

...Can I have one as a pet? They look like aliens or something, possibly outsider creatures from another plane. The plane of disgusting alien creatures.

Phyrexian Negator, I do believe. No, I do not play Magic, but I do have teh internetz.
It also says it in the appearance slot too, IIRC.
I love that there's actually a lizard model in the game now too, just "big lizard" and it looks kinda like a bronze drake or something. Makes me wanna make a rastafarian-esque druid with a big @$$ iguana, just chillin out and pwning Blighters and what not. Reskin Brown Bear as it and yell "Get rocked by my iguana, Talosians!".
P.S. For everyone. Go to your toolset. Build a module. Get monster, set appearance to Invisible_dragon_200. Set tail to tarrasque. Enter module. Prepare to wet yourself.

Forget the new monsters. This helmet I'd found in the Amia hak pack beats everything I've ever seen in NWN:
Can't see any use for it though, except for being a good Halloween mask or maybe a mask that could be used during some RP involving necromancy.
I've looked through the stuff contained within the hak pack and I must say it's a nice refreshment from the everyday looks of non-hacked NWN. The only thing I didn't like is the lack of wearable items that would fit the "fatty" PCs. Most of the tower shields are overlapping polygons on fat PCs arms for example, and the helmets are so small... But I can't blame anyone except the modellers, so I'm eagerly waiting for Amia HAK implementation. Both thumbs up.

Time to check and see what surprises lay in store for me. I purposefully didn't go to the test area so that I could be really surprised about what happens when the HAK gets put in.

--------------
actually i just figured it out after re reading the instal instructions
if anyone has this question this is how i solved it
you go into the nwn parent folder and make a new folder called tlk and put the file in there. easy =]
