I've had a paypal account since I was seventeen, thats 5 years now, and I've had no issues at all, no virus things, and no hackers. Never store money on Paypal, ever. Use it only as the medium between your bank account, & the person your paying. Thats it. If you do that, you should be safe.

Also, never write down your password and account details anywhere. Espically not on your computer. When your doing it on a website it's not such an issue, but the moment you write down that pin/password on a text file and put it on your computers HD you are at risk. Simply don't do it.

Aww Dwagin. If I was a Grandma, I'd pinch your cheeks and call you a good kid.

:D

I'll look into supporting Amia. After all its done for developing and encouraging creative minds, its the least I could do.

That's what you all should do anyway.

I did a bit of looking around and the deal we got at $100 a month is pretty good. I don't think being hosted by somebody playing Amia is a good thing, so we better cough up the cash.

It'd solve a lot of problems if it did.

That being said, I understand your intent by what you are saying.

Anyway, I got my PayPal running again, including bank account connection. So, people who don't have paypal but want to make a donation: PM me and we'll figure out how you can transfer money to my bank, which I will PayPal to the Amia coffers.

We got quite a few one-off donations, by the way. It will keep us running for a few months. Thanks, folks!

Woots! More Amia for everyone!

I'll use your account, then. Don't need to bother with the snail mail password reactivations again...

Well... no, but occasionally people are on holiday or having a break or simply didn't spend much time in the forum for a while. *shrugs*

Wonder if it would be reasonable to increase the $5 monthly donation to $10, or at least make the option to donate more monthly avaliable.

I'd donate...But I have other issues to deal with.

Need to buy a laptop for school, then need to save up for school...

Can't subscribe, but if I'm lucky...Might be able to do a couple one-time donations down the road.

Already asked Mags about that, but it would be either 5 or 10 and we figured keeping it at 5 might be better. I can ask him if it's possible to set the amount yourself (starting at $5).

You can of course do 5/month and make a donation when needed.
