The sounds of the city begin to die away as night comes and blankets Cordor. Now only the pitter patter of raindrops on rooftops can be heard.
Then it begins, like it did the night before. Behind a closed door in the West District emits a song of sorrow and doom. The words not clearly heard through the thick wood, but the sounds of prayer are evident.

Night after night, the doomful howl creeps beneath the doorway from this abandoned home. The streelight outside the door flickers in the wind, along with spreading the sounds of prayer to the surrounding streets.
To those with a keen sense of smell can detect incense being burnt within, and those with a acute sense of hearing can pick the low steady beat of a small drum.

*maggot wrinkles his goblin nose whenever he goes by this house, but never seams to make any big deal of it*
"Stupid humies..."

A piece of the night rises with the morning as a man in dark robes exits the house every morning, quietly moving through the streets with his gaze toward the ground.
None take notice, for the moment, so the sounds can be heard again the next night.

Walking past the house at night Nerrek hears the delighted howling and starts to howl back at the door for several minutes before walking on. If it's a howling competition they want, they can have it!

Happening past the house one night, Crow takes notice at the odd sounds emanating from within. This being a curiosity, and Crow being of the curious sort, he finds himself a suitable hiding place to take a watch of the place. The comfort level of said hiding place is low indeed but, this is nothing new to the roguish human, as he settles in to see what might profit from this endeavor.
Thoughts of shiny golden discs spilling over the spread body of a sweetly smelling female course through the mans' mind as dawn breaks the night sky.
Crows' entertaining fantasies are whisked away as the door to the small home is cracked open and a lone figure emerges to look hastily around and then disappear quickly away.
Crow squints his eyes to attempt spotting what the figure might be, perhaps it is the one he seeks for the dark Elf maiden.
He rises slowly, allowing the blood to return into his legs once more, then, once the figure passes safely by, he makes his silent and stealthy chase.

As the morning creeps in, a man exits the house quietly, his pale but flustered face showing well in the morning light. The handsome young man wearing dark clothes with jade trim wipes sweat from his brow before making sure the coast is clear.
He slips down an alley heading east.
If any were to go inside the house, only the strong smell of incense would be strange about this home.

There are no sounds to be heard this night, or the night after.
Again this small corner of Cordor returns to normal, the nights silence covering the area once more.
