Gotta agree with O'Rrrgh here. PC arguments are tedious, and it was your choice to take the word and blow it out of proportion. The blame rests entirely with the offended.

No, the blame lays with those who chose to make an extra post in its defence. The word was mentioned to be offensive in a post with other material, and you stopped using it, which was very good and generous conduct from you. And then someone else decided to blow it out of proportion by raising the issue once more.

I didn't use it to offend, and I didn't stop using it to better my conduct. I simply was finished with that line of argument and do not like repeating myself. Sorry to the OP that it got so petty, certainly wasn't my intention.
