*Tacked in forested areas which elves most likely frequent is a message, witten in a very distict elven cursive*
Our fellow elven kin. We beseech you to take up residence in Winya Ravana, a relatively safe haven for those of pure elven blood. Too long have we lived in the shadow of the lesser races, mingling with Orcs, goblins, half breed mongrels and most repulsively, humans.
Minor trading within the human cities is understandable; however, we of divine blood deserve better than to be assimilated into the vile Cordorian culture of human greed, shortsightedness, and depravity.
In elven lands, we are safe, we are protected, and most importantly we stay pure.
In light of the threats that were issued, please pay no heed to the childish tirades of the lesser human scum. It is akin to humans fearing the clucks of the poultry which they domesticate.
Absolutely preposterous.
We would very much look forward to enjoy your company in the magnificent Elven city which we now reside in.
We assure you, our beloved kin, that any harm which befalls upon our noble race will be repaid tenfold. A task so menial, it is not even worth mentioning.
Signed, Elven House Auvrea’raheal

The sea elf N'tala looks over the notice and shakes her head, laughing a bit as she hobbled away, using her spear for support as she moved. "Silly landkin..."

The notes in Winya are tacked over, by an exceptionally pale moon elf, not seen for many months. In her arms, a small bundle, which might surprise any who've bothered speaking to her. Ever.
"We had enough problems with your ilk already. Piss off. You do nothing but engender hatred for the Fair Folk and make all of our lives harder. Learn some humility, you gibbering putzes, then come talk to us of your "right to rule".
You're like Qirlan, with bigger sticks."
Calia Elubmiire.

A series of elves drabbed in the official colours of Winya make their way to the walls of Cordor leaving a notice there which off course also appear various places in both the inner and outer sanctum of Winya.
Tel'Quessir!
As ever the city of Winya Ravana will offer its protection to any of the people seeking it. It is troubling that it seems vile followers of a N'tel'Quessir god have chosen to declare war on our people though we will not will not shy from our obligation to protect the people against whatever threat that might arise.
The banishment of all individuals tied to the Church of Bane are hereby affirmed and will be carried out in full force should any dare invade our home.
May The Elf-Lord keep the people safe and our enemies at bay
- Vilmandel
A small text is added in common beneath the original elven notice.
All who stand up and fight for the protection of the Elven people have the gratitude and appriciation of Winya Ravana.
- Vilmandel.

Seeing Calia's reply, N'tala writes one of her own, and leaves it by one of the posters. It is written with thick ink on sharkskin paper.
Dear house Auvrea’raheal,
While it's noble that you seek to look out for our kin, everything else I'd have to disagree with. Elves are no higher than any other race, though maybe more civilized...Mostly, with Winya being the exception.
Winya is already a festering hole of pride, arrogance and corrupted honour. It does not need encouragement, it needs help.

[The following text is written in elven ]
Where is the unity of the people gone?
For why we attempt to drive others away rather than try to understand their views or attempt to change them?
In disparity we find our strength, in unity we find our power.
We all have our weaknesses, but I hope that you remember Angarradh's teachings!
Through the melding of widely different skills and interest, creativity, life, and artistry are nurtured and new ideas are discovered.
Where as this only names good things of us, also unity helps us to remove our weaknesses.
It is no arrogance to say that we, the people, have strongest of mages, we the people, have most skilled archers, we the people, have most skilled frontliners. It is merely stating the truth.
Calia Elubmiire, I am astonished by what you say, you speak like human. Going straight forward for insults. Rather than going for insults, welcome your new kin, at least attempt to get to know them before judging them.
I ask of you, why one can not take pride of their people, considering how long we have lasted? We are all of the people after all.
May Seldarine guide us.
Afíenor Cresthíenul, one of the sun.

Reading Vilmadel's note a blonde elven beauty-of-a-male tilts his head with a raised brow.
"To any of the people seeking it", he says? Well I'll be damned and go see if the voice of Winya speaks truth or labels as lies.
He shrugs, starting to make his way to the city of his kind that had banned him once.

A dark haired elven ranger stops to read over Calia's note posted on the temple board and gives a fond sigh and murmurs "Here we go again eh Beloved? The fools never learn" He pads off silently. Heading home to find his wife and child.

A copy of this reply is sent to Cordor with the notice posted up by Vilmandel, and a second sent to Winya proper.
Tel'quessir,
Whilst I agree wholehartedly with the messages of unity, and of dealing with that which would threaten us as a whole I cannot advocate or stand for the squabbling which appears to have been caused by the disagreements shown here.
My own personal duty is sworn to the Ruathym Monolith, and as best it can it shall also be offered as a save haven to the People, especially those who wield the Weave. Should Darthion be encountered by myself I will face him down willingly as it seems I likely will have no choice, lest he wish to condemn me coward, and run me down to fell me.
I will not, however serve in an active effort to hunt Darthion down. My responsibilities to the Monolith at present preclude me from this. However, those that do actively hunt him do have my prayers and know that any aid I can render within reason, I will.
Vaelmith Starshower Captain, Weave Knights of the Ruathym Monolith
PS: A final note, we must know unity once more. The squabbling, the internal criticisms, the acts of a few Ar'Tel'quessir have caused us to be split schismically. Consider this carefully as you read and when you next take pen to paper.

A rather grim faced elf passes one such notice and shakes his head. Rather than leave any proper reply he simply knocks one of his arrows and fires it at the notice, burying it deep within the tree it was tacked to.

If noticed, the moon elf walks off with an occupied look.

Be shocked all you like at my words. I never once hid my feelings; not as an Archer of Shevarash, and not now. Stupidity and blind violence are /not/ values I will teach MY children, thank you. All this has done is made people like myself, or Lady N'Tala, out of her natural desmenes, targests. For that, I have no forgiveness for "kin". Their battle is their own.
I urge, once again, those who seek more than bloodshed and pampered "sovereignity" seek me out. Let us band together as kin, and say that those who would bring assault on us are not welcome.
Winya, and tel'Quessir people, are not in a position to wage war, and these males have invited just that. I said that when Ultrinnan fell, I say it again now.
You go ahead and pick fights. I, and mine, will have no part of it. If Darthion brings the fight, I will meet him. I will /not/ go out starting fights, and shame on all of you who do with no thought for others.
Calling someone stupid when they say and do stupid things is no insult. It's pointing out the truth of the matter.
We have the strongest and the best, hm? Where are these "best"? Where do you hide, Afíenor Cresthíenul? Where have you been, silent these long, long months? Where will they be when I and my child need protection from the fight I DID NOT START? I dare not say nearby.
Do not sit your pampered, pompous ass in judgement of me. You don't know me, or what I've done, and you are /not/ Corellon to do so.

*A letter, is sent to Winya, via Speedies*
Dear Corrupted Elves and Lesser "Kin"
Whilst ordinarily, I would be glad to see your corrupted selves eat dirt and die off...I cannot standby and allow a mere human slave race, to attack Elves of any description.
It is for this reason, that -I-, one of the last of those with Pure Elven Blood (unlike the Corrupted Sun Elves) will generously aid Winya, to be rid of the Black Hand menace that corrupts the slave races.
Quite a few months ago, the One known as Darthion, resided in Underport. I believe, you may still find his base, there, if you're quick and able to capture him or his cronies.
Signed,
Mistress of the Dark Below

[Written again in elven.]
Dear Calia Elubmiire
I have hardly been hiding, I have been honing my skills with sword, and my skills on other form of arts as well. I am a Winyan citizen, the fact that you have not met me, you can't blame me for it. In Winya there is around three thousand people. I have made, those who have met me, know that I give my help when need be. Also note that I am not one who sits all the time in Winya Ravana, sometimes my journey takes elsewhere on the islands.
I am hardly being a judge, but the fact that you judge some of the sun before you even know them, makes me sad. And though it saddens me to hear that you and your family were attacked, I hardly know where I was, as I have not even heard of this before you mentioned it.
What comes to the statement of me trying to act like the Coronal, I let it pass, as you said, I hardly know you, and you hardly know me.
May Angarradh help us find unity from our disparity.
Afíenor Crésthienul

N'tala decides to leave one last note. Like before, it's written in thick ink on sharkskin paper, and in a style of elven influenced from aquan writing.
People of the Tel'Quessir,
This is not a time for fighting, despite disagreements. The Banite Darthion has declared war upon yours and my people and won't stop until he sees us all dead.
While I'll be the first to disagree with many of the Sun, and I left Winya Ravana for a reason, if it is needed, I will return to help during this.
