What Tormak said. The Shadowstuff is pretty gross. I included part of the Last Mythal, because 1) the set-up is good stuff and a backdrop for future events and/or Winyan politics and 2) there are several players who've used the war as a PC background or mentioned it in game.
A lot of "canon" things may apply after 1373, too. There's a lot of details I picked from Grand History, such as Azoun's future etc. But the thing is, none of it applies automatically, only once it's been confirmed. So yeah, if you read something about the Realms in 1378, and it's very mundane and unrelated to big events, it probably applies, or is very close to "Amia canon." But you can't rely on it for certain.

By the way, Iron, as soon as I am done reading The Twilight War trilogy, I will start to read the third book of the Empyrean Dream trilogy. If there is anything you need to know from those books and you did not read them yet, feel free to ask me. Even though the events there will not affect Amia.

Well, Xavi depressed me by sending me two huge posts of DM Shouts from past years. It's posted in R&L now, but it's open to improvement whenever someone wants to add something. I'd rather you sent me finished entries, so that I don't have to decipher the details first and then find a date for it.
There's still work to be done, but there are more urgent tasks on Amia.

If I knew what they were all about, I'd say so.

Is there any additional info on the Eternal Sun of Amaunator?
It's important to my main character, but finding out in-character only gets speculation and/or nonsense from other PCs. Visiting the miracle on a pilgrimage is impossible to to game limitations, and would achieve nothing anyway.

It's not impossible, your PC must simply travel to the mainland to do it and hence see it in a forum post.

I'll send 'em, in case Xavi doesn't have them in PM format anymore.

Great! Any hints on how to do so? There seems to be no way to find out in character reasonably. Taking a boat, for instance, doesn't seem possible, since the boats don't go there etc.
Other PCs don't seem to have a clue either, and asking the NPCs is often an exercise in futility. I can't imagine that finding out how to get someplace isn't a big secret that would have me accused of metagaming for asking.

Well, the story in its most complete form is in Power of Faerûn. Um, there are certainly boats to the mainland from Wiltun (or otherwise Ruathym), probably from Amia via Moonshaes, and Khem is even easier. It's in Eversult, which is on the Dragon Coast.
I suppose the sensible options would be to sail from Khem to Westgate and follow the Trader's Road west to Eversult, or sail from Amia/Ruathym to Baldur's Gate and get to Iraebor somehow (by a long way on foot, or on the river Chionthar - I don't know if you can sail it), and take the Trader's Road east from there.
Just looking at the maps, mind. I don't actually know if there's faster or safer ways recommended.
