this isn't a poll. I just noticed that the loot drops are a lot more varied and awesome. It this a way to make more players? I don't know where I missed this development but my thumb is up, even though I can't use half of it because of alignment restrictions.
And as a second note, I also like the stolen items, even though I can't sell the ****ers.

I personally think loot hasnt been this interesting since I've been on amia. In fact, loot actually feels like loot.

The items are all being recalled i norder to be balanced better. None of them should be marked stolen.
And yes, call it a new years, 5th anniversary sort of thing.

The yellow name sare generated by Disco's fancy random loot script.

I'd imagine they do it by tags or resrefs.

Might upset the DM's if you try to beat them on items we shouldn't have. If you renamed one, I'd suggest just letting a DM know in a PM so there isn't confusion.

The items will be removed regardless of name changes.

Who needs loot anyway when you play as a cleric.

You WISH it was as easy as changing the name to prevent it.

I have one that I can't sell and highlights as red in the inventory when you move the cursor over it, and another item that lights clear and I can't sell it either, and both of them are marked stolen. But the ones that you can sell are worth so much that gold on Amia has become even more worthless, which is another balance issue.[/i]

If the death penalties are bing made more dangerous, i'd say the loot is worth it, just make a little harder to get.
(The good stuff being made the new epic loot perhaps?)
Things like the Rat Flail seem to be accecptable at lower levels.
And the Line has been for a long time.
'Bigger risk, bigger reward'
marking it all stolen means theres no risk of the gold hike we saw already, but you already spotted that.
Promotes more PC trade, less mindless sale to NPC's

awww....I love the Globe of Shadows. They're a one use not so powerful item that adds flavour to Illusionists and SD's.
But, a take back wholesale to check for balance, is obviously good. Some of the items are stupidly powerful and on par with DC items for sure.
