Hello, I play Tera Marshaller a cleric of Silvanus and I just got my 8th circle spells and tried out the summons and it's something called a "grisgol construct"... now this thing looks undead. Is that something that I am going to have to deal with in RP as my character would never ever use an undead summons *ie am I going to have to explain what this thing is to every paladin I meet*?

Grisgols aren't undead, they're a golem. They are, however, powered by undeath, as they get their animating force from magical energy siphoned from a still-existing lich's phylactery integrated into their body. So, yeah, there's a good reason paladins and other do-gooders probably won't like them, if they know anything about how a grisgol is constructed and animated.

As far as their physical appearance, ICly, a grisgol would appear to be made from numerous scraps of magical scrolls, magic wands, broken magic staves, scraps of magic weapons, half-empty potions, etc. I think it'd be very difficult to mistake one for a mummy with anything more than a cursory examination.

Thank you for the reply as I have no clue what it even was... sounds like something my character wouldn't use though so Ill nix that spell from my list for now.

They -do- lorewise have a disease attack when they're hit. I dont know if they do in game.

I'd also like the name to be changed just because of what a Grisgol is powered by... I dobt every neutral summoner has gone to the problem of trapping a lich.

I just want to add that I love the fact that you made summons useful on this server... but this summons, yeah I don't see Silvanus being too happy with a cleric of his running around hunting liches to make a construct... not to mention that I have animal domains so yeah.
