Quite high powered for 15 DCs.
I'm pretty sure if ever such an armor gets approved the cost will be much much higher. If I recall correctly modifying/adding properties into an item gets treated the same as buying the item from scratch and thus paying for all its powers. If not then OMG, I'd love to add some tweaks on my stuffs.

Considering the reason why/how the current setup evolved, technically, Dramatic_Prince's comment is not really all that unfair, since not everyone knows the rules and limits the DMs have. I wouldn't be so harsh over that comment. Not everything *is* overly transparent, though I don't think much of anything is intentionally hidden or secret information anymore (as far as perks or such go - obviously DM debates over hiring, banning, nerfing, etc, are still private, and should remain so).
The ~very~ old system did allow, to an extent, some self-twinking/levelling by DMs. Unfortunately, said system *was* abused by some (No current DMs), and led to it's elimination, and the continuing evolution of the current system, most especially/specifically the DM DC system.
Beyond a DC "wage", DMs cannot access anything special or private, nor twink/mule anything to their own pc's. To do so is a terminable offence.
In a way, DM's are at a bit of a disadvantage, because while they can, and sometimes do, create nifty or powerful items as plot/quest rewards, it is generally players, not DMs, who "win" said rewards, specifically because the DMs try to avoid any chance of accusations of bias or favouritism when it comes to such rewards. And you know those things like Divine mythals, that can *only* come from a DM - I'm not sure if ANY DM PC has ever gotten one, at least whilst they were a DM. Same reason.
As a DM, I was able to visit and explore, while in the DM client, the Abyss and gauntlet shops, years ago (Good to know what sort of power levels the shops had). None of my PC's ever managed to visit said shops until...I think this year, actually, and I was no longer a DM by then anyway.

I'm relatively sure none of us have gotten a divine, unless someone bought it from a player who'd recieved one and didn't use it themselves. God knows I'd love one ><.

In the past, adding -ASF has been a flat 15 DC cost no matter what item it was added to.
And from what I know, that's the cost atm as well.

That's wonderforged + perfect + divine + divine.
Didn't get the divines though, had to trade/buy 'em.
Still!

Because when it comes to finding out "secret" information, "do it IC" does not work. I'm sure alot of players can attest to this. It's like going in-game and asking around where and how I can find a harper. People either don't know, or the few that do, will not tell you. Even if someone tells you, say, "Random Character" is a harper. How can you authenticate?
I'm talking about system transparancy btw. Something that is not synonymous with in Amian oligarchy. The player base finds out things when info is "leaked" so to speak.
DM Edit #1: Random Character is in no way affiliated with the Harpers. Any person caught using this post's OOC reference to Random Character being a Harper as IC proof of Random Character's Harperism will quickly be hung by the silvery strands of a Real Harper's harp.
DM Edit #2: Not that all Harpers harp. That was a baseless randomization which may or may not have unintentionally caused hurt feelings among Those Who Harp. Even if they don't. Please accept my sincerest apologies.

Actually, you can find out who the Harpers are, and the Sharrans, and the other secret factions...
..completely IC. It takes effort and work and a bit of brain power, but it is quite doable. Find out IC does work, it's just a case of adjusting your tactics if you find your current set isn't working.

Haha I just picked a random high profile character that came to mind, but the reaction is amusing regardless

Screwing up or screwing your PCs over is also part of the game, no?

The quoted comment was left for Ron because it is an inside joke between me and him. It was not supposed to be taken seriously. So. Don't worry about it.

"Do it IC" is always a reasonable reply to anything. OOC is a sometimes necessary evil. Nothing more.

Psh, Harpers are easy, as are the Sharrans dispite what members of both groups may think at times.
The cleverest disguise I have seen for a character on Amia is a certain lovitar worshipper who pretty much has convinced everyone it's impossible for said person to be anything even slightly evil.
