Anyone know if there's a flying or floating book in the game engine?
I'd love to make a Wizard and have his familiar reskinned into a flying spell book.

It might have teeth though.

Quite sure that is wrong. There's a chest, a lamp, a table, a chair, but no book, unless I'm really mistaken ...and that would be strange!

Might just be me who's stuck with the CEP models then.

Do take note that objects have slower movement speeds then your average summon skin.

I object to you treating him like just another animated object. He has a name, you know, and feelings...

Id be against it as a familar (because spell books dont attack stuff) if its possible, as a bottled companion however thats a cool idea.

You never ever did read Discworld then. Stuff like that happens there regularily.
Unprotected apprentice spellcasters goe to take a peek at the magic books and the next morning those books look somewhat happy, full, and there is a pair of boots in front of them!
Also, spellbook with teeth? It sure could bite stuff, and would be hilarious.

Sure spell books can attack. Haven't we all seen "Evil Dead"?
Edit: sorry "Army of Darkness"

And this is a grand example why you should only apply for DM items during the end of November and beginning of December. Crowsterf will be so drunk and sleep deprived he'll say yes to anything.

I just liked the idea of a Wizard with a floating spell book.
Anyone here play the 4th Edition Talisman board game? I imagined exactly like the Red Wizard in that picture. Would be really fun.

Let's see if that adamant suspension of disbelief holds up in the stark reality of a linear alignment system.
