With rentable houses throughout Amia, why not make a few rentable business areas (i.e.. Shop, Tavern, Inn). I know i would love the idea personally and in the past rounded up some employees but never had a building to use without a DM setting something up. It would help make the jobs in the job system matter a bit more... hire brewers to make drinks... cooks to, well, cook... and so on. Maybe I'm being a bit too ambitious, at the very least their could be a few npc merchant already in the business and the owner/renter of the business could get like 50% of all money made from said business.

You can have the sign out front do pretty much the same thing as the rentable houses and place their name on the front... or maybe have an option that lets the PC name it like with the mythaling system.

What about some non-hostile areas on B-mia to place these rentable businesses. Between the hostile areas or course, so people can take a break from grinding and enjoy some RP. You could also probably put a few rentable apartments as well... just imagine a PC driven town. Market stalls, Shops, Taverns all run by PC's.

It's worth a shot on B-mia at the very least.... I know I would start spending alot more time on B.

Just some more ideas that were rumbling in my head!

I guess there's really no showstoppers for this, but I got a gut feeling that the malls do the job better. More chances of getting customers.

With Disco's idea about the long-term rentable houses, those places would be wonderful to use as the site of a business.

You want somewhere that gets feet through it.

A private place wont, and ontop of that will cost you money.

I could see renting somewhere for an auction. But you can already do that with the current system.
