Alright, I'm going to go ahead and see about getting this thing set up, and I'll start out by seeing who all is interested and available in something like this.
This series of events will be for:
-Characters at level 2
-Characters who are at least somewhat melee-oriented
-Players with flexible schedules and dedicated to sticking with the plot
-Players looking for a good starting point for their characters, making a name for themselves in various arena-fighting scenarios
I will be doing some things similar to Kjetta's first season, and some things different. I'll probably only take on one group, though that may change depending on the amount of interest I receive. I'm going to limit the number of characters I'm accepting to around 10-12. I want to do these events at least once a week, though I'd like to shoot for twice a week.
I will ask that you not treat these characters like normal adventurers, going out hunting when you're not in an event. I know with the Job System, some starving gladiator might pick up a side job, and that's fine. But don't go overboard with it. I want to keep most everyone in approximately the same range of each other.
I will allow absences from events with prior notice, but too many and I will write you out of the campaign.
This probably won't start until Season 1 finishes, but I want to get this out there so I can suitably prepare, and to hopefully cut down on the number of people who want to be late entries because they didn't know about it.

Bump, for reminders and such, and to just keep it alive.
Still probably won't start for a while, as I'll be moving over the next couple weeks, and dealing with all the things that entails. Just trying to get this out there, so you can't say you didn't know about it, and try to get in late.

I've been thinking about this for a while and finally decided to give in to my interest for it. There's just this itsy bitsy little problem of a very important exam I'm going to take on the 20th, 21st or 23rd of July by my estimate and a week prior to it I was going to deprive myself of tempting internet connection. But. If it does happen to start then I'll just show more restraint than usual, hopefully.

I would like to participate in this. Sutt will be the char's name if he gets to participate. I am generally available most times. Though a goodly sized window of advanced notice would be great.

I take this back. As much as I'd want to I don't even know what my schedule will look like in October. I'm really sorry for falling into the fantasy thinking mood again

I operate on American CST, which puts me at GMT -5, according to the little timezone helper on the side. I would likely do these events in what would be late afternoon/evening for me, but that could easily change and I don't want to plan anything too specific at this point. I'll be busy trying to organize and settle things in "reality" for the next week or three.
Just keep your ear on this thread if you are interested. Don't worry about getting a spot or anything like that until further details surface. And most of all, patience, my young padawans.

Oh my, someone remembered this. I had almost forgotten it myself.
I'll see about making up a gameplan and whatnot, getting things ready.
If you are interested, see my first post up at the top. I won't be reserving spots quite yet, as the first event will likely be open-audition style. But if you have a character you want for this series of events, I won't accept over Level 2.

Yes, it looks like I didn't mention it before, but permadeath is a possibility in this series of events. Just a heads up on that.
